I saw Kim Wilson's Blues revue in Oslo,Norway 1993 on the Tigerman tour with Rusty Zinn, Junior Watson, Georgn Raines, Gene Taylor and and a brilliant little bairded upright bassplayer I can't rember the name of. The best live gig I have ever seen!!

My friends and me were visitors of that show. Remarkable evening, that I like to remember. The sound was much better than on this vid. - I mean, this was THE 'Tigerman-Album-Hollywood-Fats­-Band-Feeling' we expected. Kim is, I suspose, a bandmusician; he needs this rumble and around him to play his best on the harp. And these guys mumbled, sighed and moaned REALLY well!!!

I can't remember if Junior brought his amp from home, but he normally uses a tweed Pro chassis, w/ three 10" speakers in a custom-built cabinet...sort of a "Frankenstein" 3-10" Bandmaster. Troy's using "whatever" the promoter rented. This is a show in Holland, @ 2003.

Hi Gene, i was the guy who rented the amps that night, the gig was in germany in 2002, Jr. used a Reissue-Bassman with mastervolume, Troy used a 1963 Concert, Kim my 1962 "Frankenstein" Bandmaster , Best Thomas

Thanks - I'm impressed he got such a broken-up tone out of a reissue Bassman. Usually they sound extremely loud and clean! Troy sounds great too. Great players, all.

junior uses narrow panel tweed pros alot. Thats what it looks like is behind him, could be wrong. Cant beat that tone!

I have seen Junior live twice, both times with Canned Heat during their "Reheatd" period. He's such a great picker and showman it'S almost scary.

The Thunderbirds are great but seeing Kim in a small club was one of the greatest concerts I have ever been to.
