Definitely one of the only anime's I've been very thankful for buying. While many other shows require a certain mindset to watch, I find myself always looking forward to an episode or arc when the mood strikes and simply pop the DVD in. The laughs, the heartaches, the anger and great breadth of story originality, it's all there and I can't deny that I've proudly watched this series at least seven times through, never mind the random mini-marathons when the mood strikes.

@juroku9 In Japan they have the same exact song, but the full version is over 3 mins long while the one they play in the anime is 1:30 or so. I guess funimation just didn't make a full song. what a bummer :(

Really I thought I was the only crazy one who loved hearing this song over and over again. The end's the real killer - when it just does a 180 from the heroes' point to the looming projection of Sensui. It's like going from one hurtle to another (Toguro then Sensui)

EXACTLY I love the part when it shows all the people from the dark tournament they fought, and when it shows Toguro's face with Genkai looking back, (You can feel us drawing closer to love ...) song still gives me chills listening to it its so good, its one of my favorite anime endings ever.
