He is not dead and he clearly ducked before the missle hit him, thats why the trial of smoke went straight past him, if it hit him the rocket would of exploded on impact!
I think he will make a great comeback in resident evil 6 or 7 just like he did it code veronica X

@badgame589 marvel vs capcom 3 tends to apper to happen before certain events, such as, for example, phoenix wright in ultimate MvsC3, hes still a lawyer, even though he lost his attournys badge. and spencer doesnt know his wifes soul is in his bionic arm yet because he "goes out" with she hulk in his arcade mode ending, therefor he didnt know his wife was right at the "date" the whole time.

No offence to anyone but Albert Weskers potrail in this game is similar to how Samus Aran acted in Metroid Other M. I love Metroid Other M but the potrail of Samus leaves a lot to be desired.
@residentevil5ism the RPG did miss but the lava killed him but i think wesker is still alive because it shows a ball of lava around wesker then it goes off and u don't see that part of the lava after it

A rumor from an inside source said that they plan to reveal a multiplayer RE6 in the next few weeks/months by the team who worked on Socom. He also said that story of RE6 will center around the "other" missing characters including Billy Coen, Rebecca Chambers, and Barry Burton which will begin in Racoon City. Wesker was the perfect being. Created to be the next step in human evolution. Then given the fact that he injected himself with the virus. The reason why they killed Wesker was because they are rebooting the WHOLE series. This I dont understand. Why recreate a great franchise and ruin it. Hope Capcom knows what they are doing. Anyone have any new information about the reboot btw?
screw this game...it has none of the epicness that was in RE4, no atmosphere, no amazing boss fights, and making it a co-op game really ruined it. RE was my fav series ever...not anymore(sigh).
let me just say it now...Resident Evil peaked, and in my view ENDED at the end of Code Veronica....before that point everything made sense and it was a beautiful story.... then it just became about killing Zombies...from the new movies to the new story lines everything just sucks....these games were always puzzle/survival horror not corny action
If capcom wants to bring Wesker back, another option they have is to say that Wesker left a child or a copy or clone before dying. He doesn't have to be a badass, but he could be creepy as hell, you know, like some demonic brat with not a thirst for vengane, but a lust for power and blood shed. His caretaker could be Ada... i'm jus' sayin'...

I will say however, it's really awesome how far Wesker has come along. He started off as the traitor in the first game and was seemingly killed off and then he comes right back when nobody expected it and he took a level in badass. Since then, he went on to be the mascot of the series and overall it's most well developed and popular character. Even Capcom has realized what bullshit decision it was to kill him off that they created a replacement named Alex Wesker (play Lost in Nightmares)
No matter how anybody says otherwise, this was an atrocious ending to the Resident Evil series (apparently it's being rebooted). I'm so tired of these storybook endings. Can't we get ONE ending were the heroes don't come out on top? Honestly, it's boring to see the same shit over and over again. And of course they had to finish it off with fucking Rocket Launchers. Good lord Capcom is so full of shit.

Wesker could come back in 2 logical explanations. one, he could have cloned himself and that would be a reasonable story. two, when they shot the rpg, the explosion could have left a drop of blood somewhere away from the lava. his cells regenerate giving him the ability to come back.
@owen960 yeah he was sitting in a lake of magma and took to rpgs to the face, letting the rest of him to burn to nothing. He was consumed by the virus, no virus on Earth can last in extreme heat, hes gone for good, and if they bring him back, it wont make any sense.
@owen960 when they went out the window Jill had Wesker by the waist, Wesker hit the ground first, taking most if not all the impact and it could have been water they landed in, Jill didnt die because she landed on Wesker.
If you look close enough- the rockets pass him (he moves his head to the left) and explode behind him. He'll be back.

@badgame589 marvel vs capcom 3 tends to apper to happen before certain events, such as, for example, phoenix wright in ultimate MvsC3, hes still a lawyer, even though he lost his attournys badge. and spencer doesnt know his wifes soul is in his bionic arm yet because he "goes out" with she hulk in his arcade mode ending, therefor he didnt know his wife was right at the "date" the whole time.

A rumor from an inside source said that they plan to reveal a multiplayer RE6 in the next few weeks/months by the team who worked on Socom. He also said that story of RE6 will center around the "other" missing characters including Billy Coen, Rebecca Chambers, and Barry Burton which will begin in Racoon City. Other characters could include the story of Alex Wesker as well as the return of Albert Wesker. He also mentioned some original RE2/RE3 minor characters could make an appearance as well.

Wesker was the perfect being. Created to be the next step in human evolution. Then given the fact that he injected himself with the virus. Which by the way gave him untold powers on top of what he already was. I dont believe that two rockets would be the end of good ole Wesker. He will be back in one form or another.

I dont know if u guys noticed this or maybe u guys have and havent said it but i will, if u look closely when chris and sheva fire at him u can kinda see wesker duck his head and the missles hit the lava behind him hence wesker is most definitely alive and he will most definitely be back once he recovers which he will most definitely will,for those who havent noticed go back and check or see this vid again and you'll see what im saying good luck and good gaming.

screw this game...it has none of the epicness that was in RE4, no atmosphere, no amazing boss fights, and making it a co-op game really ruined it. RE was my fav series ever...not anymore(sigh).

let me just say it now...Resident Evil peaked, and in my view ENDED at the end of Code Veronica....before that point everything made sense and it was a beautiful story.... then it just became about killing Zombies...from the new movies to the new story lines everything just sucks....these games were always puzzle/survival horror not corny action

If capcom wants to bring Wesker back, another option they have is to say that Wesker left a child or a copy or clone before dying. I will say however, it's really awesome how far Wesker has come along. He started off as the traitor in the first game and was seemingly killed off and then he comes right back when nobody expected it and he took a level in badass. Since then, he went on to be the mascot of the series and overall it's most well developed and popular character. Even Capcom has realized what bullshit decision it was to kill him off that they created a replacement named Alex Wesker (play Lost in Nightmares)

No matter how anybody says otherwise, this was an atrocious ending to the Resident Evil series (apparently it's being rebooted). I'm so tired of these storybook endings. Can't we get ONE ending were the heroes don't come out on top? Honestly, it's boring to see the same shit over and over again. And of course they had to finish it off with fucking Rocket Launchers. Wesker could come back in 2 logical explanations. one, he could have cloned himself and that would be a reasonable story. two, when they shot the rpg, the explosion could have left a drop of blood somewhere away from the lava. his cells regenerate giving him the ability to come back.
