Not bad, but you still have to "Swipe and wait", which is unacceptable in the iPhone age. Sorry, when I move my finger, I expect the displayed screen to move with me WHILE I swipe, and not after.
It's just how windows mobile is. HTC have done their best, and I can't wait to see what they'll do with Android...

The difference is that with TouchFlo 3D, it is switching through applications NOT, icons like with the iphone.
Each area is a seperate application which has its own individual functionalilty. On an iphone all you are doing is switching between icons then launching them when you click on the icon.
The iphone home screen is basically a large version of the Diamond program list which easily scrolls through just as fast.

Jfx187 is right. The Diamond's panels have to load a lot of data during those swipes. You should compare it more to the speed of launching applications and accessing data on the iPhone.
