Surrender as you mention is as powerful energy. I practice ashtanga yoga and the first years I had problems with minor injuries on tendons or muscles and needed to take brakes for several days before resuming practice. Until I discover that I was resisting the flow of yoga and one day I decided to let go and surrender into the postures with my surprise to see a big improvement and never got injuries anymore, I was pushing the practice but I learned to be humble and follow the rhythm of life.
