im a steelers fan and have mad respect for the ravens. the steelers and ravens are a mirror image of each other defense is key. if the steelers would have lost to the ravens in 08 or this year i would have wanted the ravens to win the super bowl. thats just me i have mad respect for the ravens

As a Cowboys fan I will have to admit that this surpasses the Cowboys/Redskins rivarly, because the Steelers/Ravens rivalry is what the Cowboys rivalry with the Redskins was like in the 1970's; Hard hitting,trash-talking, taunting..However being that the Cowboys have so many lopsided wins over the Redskins..I can see why the Ravens/Steelers rivalry has surpassed it

@drumba5 Good for your team getting to win 6 super bowls, but the NFL is a cycle and Pittsburgh's time is over. The timespan it took from Chuck Knoll's Steelers last title to Cower's first was 26 years. Don't get me wrong, Pitt is still a good team and still have a window to win another championship but it's highly unlikely now that they lost against GB.

@amzrey Pittsburgh's time is not over. mike tomlin has drafted many more good young players. the reason it was such a long gap is because chuck NOLL not knoll. is because the nfl changed after his 10th year of coaching. the last season he won a SB was in 79. he coached until 91. the nfl players changed a lot. and bill cowher wasnt as good a coach as everyone thought i think that atleast. mike is an amazing coach though. we will win atleast 2 or 3 more with mike. and you always talk like a raven
