How can you find out about your wounds? Normally in games you have a life meter or something.

You don't NEED to get the revolver first, just Oper/Searh the cabinet.

I tried and guess what, you NEED to get the revolver to "unlock" the cabinet. If you don't have it, nothing will happen.

No, just put oil lamp on the floor, then search the cabinet. It works! ;)

BTW - Lord Boleskine is important character of next Cthulhu game published by Infogrames - Shadow of the Comet (1993). It's scary too, but it's not survival horror, but rather classic adventure game.

It's strange, I have both the CD version and the diskette's version and I've always been able to to take the revolver bullets by standing near the night stand and using the action button under "Open / Search". I've taken the revolver bullets either with the room being lit or under pitch darkness.
