Thank you for this informative and overwhelmingly helpful video. Watching this has confirmed my once hesitant decision of becoming a lawyer; finally allowing me to realise that posessing a career in law is what I desire to do. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing this delightful clip, however, I do have a few minor criticisisms:
- The video is extremely dated and irrelevant to today's society.
- The outfits and clothing choices are horrendous.
- I feel the narrator was quite condescending and prejudic
Lawyers ethical? In what Universe? Lawyers manipulate justice to make money. They work hand in hand with Judges as business partners. My advice. Dont become a lawyer if you want to sleep at night. Horrible Horrible proffesion.
Im still in highschool, but I'm going straight to sixth form (A levels in britain) and then college for extra courses then university for a Law degree. But I love law, :) My mum thinks I've gone crazy
Total BS!!! Attorneys take your cash. If they are connected, they give some of it to their buddies on the bench or in government, and you get what you want. If not, they duck so that they don't get screwed, and you lose no matter what the law or the facts are.
Being a lawyer is even worse than you can imagine. If you piss off a crooked judge or a connected attorney, you will be screwed. To see for yourself, Google: Justice in Florida Supreme Court documents missing.
@MarkAdamsAtty I feel gypped. There was nothing except a blog about the file going missing. Could you send me a link, either private msg or public, to where i can see someone with SOME credibility talking about the missing document. Please. If not, that is what to expect when people think they know how the legal system works, and find out it doesn't work exactly how they thought it should, or would. And btw, documents do go missing sometimes, have you never worked in an office with files?
By the way, I graduated in the top third of my class at UF, a top tier law school, and I aced the Bar exams and LSAT. Google: scores and recommendations markadamsjdmba
I won some big cases, but I ran into the old boys who rule our third world legal system. Since we no longer can hold them accountable when they violate the law, they take cash and say black is white and right is wrong. To learn how they get away with this, google: Why Does the Government Ignore Our Wishes?
@ManofManyPasswords Lol at that part. Everyone's intelligent, you know. It's just that a "smart" person is less common than most think it is. And yeah, before political correctness XD.
@Brandonduboff Like I said, albeit in different terms, everyone can process information. Not everyone has the potential to great knowledge, and even fewer people have the wisdom to use their knowledge well.
@YourFaceWillDie396 Thank you for your compliments, as I am a current law student. My knowledge is great, and my wisdom is even better. btw I am just joking around, I am not on a higher level intel. The argument you posed is completely opinion, just as the definition of true intelligence. Process information, yes, process information in an organized and usable fashion, no, most people do not do that. Most use their gut instinct, without using their brain. Eh just my 2 cents. nice talking to you.
