Heard this on the way to work yesterday, and forgot how damn good it was/is..One of my favorite songs.. Meaning, great guitar riff, vocal touch your soul!!!!
i liked the softer music he made in the 1990s. his voice was too raspy and he sounded older than he looked but he stll had many great 80s hits. there is a song off his 1987 album that i like but this isn't it.
@The096757 yes indeed a very bad record, ....bad songs..most of the record is bass and drums....he tried to do something totally different than Reckless...without success
i remember years ago seeing a montage of clips from the oliver north inquiry set to this music... it was perfect... "one man's nightmare is another man's dream"...
Forget about what decade great music - real music minus all the electronic bs - was made in! What's wrong with so many of you brainless fools? Bryan Adams may not have had the smoothest or prettiest voice, but he certainly could and did rock. His voice wasn't that bad to my ears, either. Oh, and his guitar licks were pretty damn good, too. Why don't you try to play the axe even half as good as he did, then. So wake up already, all you idiots, and enjoy good/great music when you hear it.
yeah bryan adams si sabia rockear , me gustan sus canciones pero llego un momento que ya aburria con tanta balada tan cursi este es una buena muestra que si sabe lo que es rock
@blacklannmuzik1 it was his best album. There was nothing better before and the stuff afterwards wasn't as well. It was the first album ever I bought as 10 years old girl at the first Day I have been to Westberlin 1989 from the "Welcome Money". I was waiting I think 6 years for better stuff to come and then I badly gave up with listening to Bryans music except of the brillant Into the fire. and "Heat of the night" is still one of my fave songs.

I agree with bleep77...Bryan Adams is the most underrated rocker in history...the best thing to ever come from Canada for sure. He bridged the rock gap in the 80's and 90's and some of his songs got me thru some really tough times. And the 18 dislikes are just ridiculous jackasses who dont know what real music is- this is a GREAT song!
I just love this song. It has that raw sound of ROCK especially the guitar playing. The HEAT OF THE NIGHT album is the only album by Bryan Adams that I really like with songs like Remembrance Day, Home Again and Native Son. Really great songs.
good for justin bieber to try and make something himself but he cant kid himself into thinking he even has an ounce of talent to compare to artists who rely on their music not their appeal to be loved lets face it he doesnt have what i takes give it another year or two and no one will want to know him

@YourWorstNightmareDK LOL@angry troll-- Actually I stopped listening to regular radio over 20 years ago so no.I never watched Seinfeld either until a couple years after it was a cancelled.Wayyyyyyyyy to busy.
I guess I had a differing opinion about the song from the other "awesome!!!" comments.
Thats all it is my opinion I guess being a musician also makes me a bit biased and allows me to explain my opinions relevance in detail.
@YourWorstNightmareDK Youtube has created a new paradox-Before people would say "How do you know? Have you ever listened to it before? Now it's like "Well your stupid why did you listen to it if you hated it??!!"
How the fuck would you ever know if you didn't? LOLz
Besides who said I listened to it again??
No it was just the truth.Sorry are you BA or somebody who has a vested interest? or are you just a troll trying to reach out?(who has probably never been laid)
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
One of the shittiest BA songs ever can you say "filler?" I'm not sure if they could crammed anymore cliche lyrics into this pile. The production bass guitar/electric guitar is a combination of "studio standrd sounds" or sounds ripped off from other pop songs. So typical of Canandien rock/pop bands once thay have major success they go from "winning formula" to "formulated" cause they can't repeat the same awesomeness.Very few can and certainly not in such a limited genre-pop/rock.
@alix2cute He did it on purpose, probably. Why are u knocking Americans? An American discovered most of everything related to you listening to videos on YouTube...have some respect or grow a dick...
@alix2cute My parochial apologies, Ali. If he started it, then he's an idiot. We don't have beef with our neighbors to the North. But not all American's are bad either...sounds like that dude is the one that needs to grow a dick...I hope I got it right this time...LOL....thanx for straightening me out, Ali...Peace!
@PlanTonto yeah sorry i got a little sharp with you, i dont really mind americans, its just when people say ignorant stuff like that i wanna say something. i was kinda shocked you stood up for a troll tho... lol
Bryan Adams is AWESOME!!! He is the only musician who has always remained in my top 5 faves since the first time I heard one of his songs. I saw him in concert in '08 and he sounded even better live than he does recorded!
The legendary Mr. Bryan Adams!! I love him!! He rocks in concert!!
I finally got lucky enough to see him in August 2005. I waited 20 long years later after Summer of 69 was big. I was only 12 then!!! My early 32nd birthday present and my best friend's early 31st birthday present!!
@Kovu427 I AGREE! You know, i believe he should be more consider like one of the best voices of all times...but you know, we see that thins when people pass away! Its cool to see now, how great he is!
@Kovu427 You may want to qualify that a bit. Perhaps give a listen to John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Bono, Paul McCartney (during The Beatles), Rod Stewart when he sang with Jeff Beck, Ray Charles... I appreciate your enthusiasm...Bryan is a true master and their is none better in Canada that I have heard. But listen to the quality of these guys. I mean seriously listen to their timbre, tone, subtleness and delivery.
Yes!!!indeed CANADA LOVE YOU.COME TO NEW BRUNSWICK TO EAT LOBSTERS IT IS THE BEST TIME,MM I,LL COOK IT 4 YOU,,I,M VERY ILL AND I,M LIVING. BUT WITH A LOT OFF HEALTH PROBLEMS WHICH CAN MAKE ME DIE SOON.I,M 49,AND YOUR BEST FAN.P.L Z COME TO NEW-BRUNSWICK WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!I,M NOT KIDDING MAYBE I,M DREAMING BUT HEY WHAT I HAVE TO LOOSE HAVEN T GOT THAT LONG I ADD A LIFE AFTER DEATH EXPERIENCE,AND SINCE THAT EPISODE WELL I,M ASKING FOR I KNOW NOW LIFE CAN DEASAPER TODAY .
Be careful, kids- MisterWhat is not only a greasy little spickball pervert, he's also a massive paedo. If you see him talking about video games or Justin Bieber, he is grooming you. Interpol have him recorded as a registered sex-offender. Ignore him, and if possible, donate what you can to have him painfully castrated in prison.
@MisterWhat Sick, I just searched his info. I hope they catch him and he gets raped in jail! Check out his page atyoutubedotcom /MisterWhat and let him know what you think of him.
@MisterWhat you said it and you are wrong. The riff on 'Somebody' alone blows away any of the shit in 'into the fire.'........Adams could never ever replicate the spontaneous (under-engineered) brilliance of Reckless.....too bad....
Bryan Adams pwned the '80's for a time...I was thinking about this song earlier, thinking about how awesome it was, thinking about how wicked it would be if Eric Clapton covered it (not that he could do a better job of it...it just sounds like a good Clapton tune with the bluesy guitar fills and all)...and then I remembered Clapton pretty much stole this tune lock, stock and barrel with "Pretending", released a couple of years later.
@SGBassplayer - great point. I never considered that before- but you are absolutely right! I listened to both songs and Clapton surely did rip him off here.
saw him in cleveland on april 21 2010 with only a guitar and a piano. what a voice he has. looking forward to seeing him again in concert. God gave him talent and he has used it well. thanks for the night in cleveland bryan!
better asking directely brian , he gives best answer of that...

you are no musican....you are nothing. You are not even cool by telling " Actually I stopped listening to regular radio over 20 years ago", because i never in my live ever listen to radio (i am 40)...i don't need to stop listen to radio.
You are just one of these who think that their tase is better the the taste of others...in other word: you think your shit doesen't smell.....

Have a great day!
bornburied 1 year ago
@YourWorstNightmareDK Youtube has created a new paradox-Before people would say "How do you know? Have you ever listened to it before? Now it's like "Well your stupid why did you listen to it if you hated it??!!"
How the fuck would you ever know if you didn't? LOLz
Besides who said I listened to it again??
No it was just the truth.Sorry are you BA or somebody who has a vested interest? or are you just a troll trying to reach out?(who has probably never been laid)
;-)

One of the shittiest BA songs ever can you say "filler?" I'm not sure if they could crammed anymore cliche lyrics into this pile. The production bass guitar/electric guitar is a combination of "studio standrd sounds" or sounds ripped off from other pop songs. So typical of Canandien rock/pop bands once thay have major success they go from "winning formula" to "formulated" cause they can't repeat the same awesomeness.Very few can and certainly not in such a limited genre-pop/rock.

bornburied 1 year ago
@alix2cute He did it on purpose, probably. Why are u knocking Americans? An American discovered most of everything related to you listening to videos on YouTube...have some respect or grow a dick...

@PlanTonto grow a dick? lawls im a girl.... genius
and he was knocking my nationality so why cant i knock his, hmm? freedom of speech, or in this case typing, beeetches
alix2cute 1 year ago
@alix2cute My parochial apologies, Ali. If he started it, then he's an idiot. We don't have beef with our neighbors to the North. But not all American's are bad either...sounds like that dude is the one that needs to grow a dick...I hope I got it right this time...LOL....thanx for straightening me out, Ali...Peace!

Bryan Adams is a icon of rock music.

@Kovu427 Try Sting solo, or with The Police ;)!!
thoughtofwrath 11 months ago
@Kovu427 You may want to qualify that a bit. Perhaps give a listen to John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Bono, Paul McCartney (during The Beatles), Rod Stewart when he sang with Jeff Beck, Ray Charles... I appreciate your enthusiasm...Bryan is a true master and their is none better in Canada that I have heard. But listen to the quality of these guys. I mean seriously listen to their timbre, tone, subtleness and delivery.

Into the Fire was miles better than Reckless. Adams most unique album to date.
There, i said it.

I thought so too.

Be careful, kids- MisterWhat is not only a greasy little spickball pervert, he's also a massive paedo. If you see him talking about video games or Justin Bieber, he is grooming you. Interpol have him recorded as a registered sex-offender. Ignore him, and if possible, donate what you can to have him painfully castrated in prison.
loopstheloop 1 year ago
@MisterWhat Sick, I just searched his info. I hope they catch him and he gets raped in jail! Check out his page atyoutubedotcom /MisterWhat and let him know what you think of him.
DeadPanKiller 1 year ago

SGBassplayer 1 year ago
@SGBassplayer - great point. I never considered that before- but you are absolutely right! I listened to both songs and Clapton surely did rip him off here.
