  • better asking directely brian , he gives best answer of that...

  • question what does this song mean?

  • Heard this on the way to work yesterday, and forgot how damn good it was/is..One of my favorite songs.. Meaning, great guitar riff, vocal touch your soul!!!!

  • This was a very underrated album.

  • his best song!

  • i liked the softer music he made in the 1990s. his voice was too raspy and he sounded older than he looked but he stll had many great 80s hits. there is a song off his 1987 album that i like but this isn't it.

  • The guitar playin in this song is in the most pure Clapton style

  • @vakeromty

the clapton style is probably why i do not like this. too coarse and simple sounding.

  • @The096757 yes indeed a very bad record, ....bad songs..most of the record is bass and drums....he tried to do something totally different than Reckless...without success

  • bellissima canzone!

  • one of the best !!!!!!!

  • 3:48 maybe im a creep but he's HOT :D

  • i remember years ago seeing a montage of clips from the oliver north inquiry set to this music... it was perfect... "one man's nightmare is another man's dream"...

  • Bryan adams for me is the very same as bon jovi, he should have been famouse at least like him

  • THIS ONE'S MY FAVORITE 8D

  • One of the best rock artists... EVER!!!!!!

  • A bluesy classic.

  • Do have any clue what this song means?

  • he is a pop star!!!!!!!!!

  • @juli2011ize ???

  • hockey players aren,t the only thing that comes out of Canada!!

  • he is so hot!!!!!!!!!!!

  • in the heat of the night yheeeeeeee

  • Forget about what decade great music - real music minus all the electronic bs - was made in! What's wrong with so many of you brainless fools? Bryan Adams may not have had the smoothest or prettiest voice, but he certainly could and did rock. His voice wasn't that bad to my ears, either. Oh, and his guitar licks were pretty damn good, too. Why don't you try to play the axe even half as good as he did, then. So wake up already, all you idiots, and enjoy good/great music when you hear it.

  • yeah bryan adams si sabia rockear , me gustan sus canciones pero llego un momento que ya aburria con tanta balada tan cursi este es una buena muestra que si sabe lo que es rock

  • love this good song

  • john taylor clone from duran duran @1:49

  • Super!!

  • 23 dislikes ????

  • one of his many unnoticed and forgotten songs!!! Youre not alone Bryan..we al are with ya In the Heat Of The Night!!!!!!

  • Bryan hit #6 in Billboard, 5-16-87. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!

  • 1000th like :D

  • "Into The Fire" was 1 of his best albums...if not his best! Love this song & video. This legend makes Rock N' Roll the way it should be.

  • @blacklannmuzik1 it was his best album. There was nothing better before and the stuff afterwards wasn't as well. It was the first album ever I bought as 10 years old girl at the first Day I have been to Westberlin 1989 from the "Welcome Money". I was waiting I think 6 years for better stuff to come and then I badly gave up with listening to Bryans music except of the brillant Into the fire. and "Heat of the night" is still one of my fave songs.

  • Great then, still great now, and i am not just remenising. If somrething is good it stays good.

  • Damn good tune.

  • Comment removed

  • BRYAN IS A MAN AHEAD OF HIS TIME, HE SHOT INTO STARDOM WITH PURE ROCK , RASPY AND HUSKY VOICE MANY WOULD ENVY , HE'S PERFOMANCE ARE ORIGINAL WHAT A TRUE ROCKER AND MUSIC SHOULD BE .

  • @bleep77 Hell, yeah!!

  • Back when Bryan wasn't afraid to rock out................dunno why Into The Fire didn't sell better. After this, aside from a few songs (eg. Can't Stop This Thing We Started) he got WAY too soft and ballad-oriented for me. Here's hoping he'll eventually return to his roots! Side note: congrats on becoming a daddy, Bryan!

  • @lurch321 I agree...

  • @lurch321 And one of Bryan's better full rock out tunes that doesn't get the airplay it deserves in this day and age. Will be definitely one of the tunes I share on my facebook page to illuminate some songs not heard that much, from the decade I was mainly in my 20's (from 1983; first four I was in my teens) that aren't heard as often (starting mainly in late-March of this year.) I wonder what some of Canadian dj's/on-air radio personalities who are facebook friends will say about this one)

  • hes voice <3

  • I listen to this while playing Minecraft.

  • @SuperFrostee You should not do that. I mean playing Minecfaft, that game sucks!

  • @TraXor777

    Dude, I tell u something- u sucks :) Cheers !

  • ANOTHER great Canadian! Rush, The Hip, Matt Good, Tea Party, Alanis, the list goes on and on. Thank you, Canada!!!

  • This and HEarts on FIre are the best songs off Into The Fire!!! Love every song by Bryan especially His first two albums Long live Bryan Adams!

  • I agree with bleep77...Bryan Adams is the most underrated rocker in history...the best thing to ever come from Canada for sure. He bridged the rock gap in the 80's and 90's and some of his songs got me thru some really tough times. And the 18 dislikes are just ridiculous jackasses who dont know what real music is- this is a GREAT song!

  • Bryan Adams will be my GOD, until my heart stops beating,....

  • 18 people never paid the piper. lucky them

  • I just love this song. It has that raw sound of ROCK especially the guitar playing. The HEAT OF THE NIGHT album is the only album by Bryan Adams that I really like with songs like Remembrance Day, Home Again and Native Son. Really great songs.

  • This album came after Reckless, I believe and was quite the departure, but I still enjoyed it a great deal.

  • You can compare ANYTHING, but you CAN'T compare Bieber to Adams..

  • @1984khal you do realize you are talking about him right?

  • The Best Hard-AOR Song!!!!!!!!Fantastic Bryan!!!

  • good for justin bieber to try and make something himself but he cant kid himself into thinking he even has an ounce of talent to compare to artists who rely on their music not their appeal to be loved lets face it he doesnt have what i takes give it another year or two and no one will want to know him

  • why are you all hating?? let the young boy be!!! someone has to start somewhere. why are you wishing for him to end up in jail or on drugs? hope that you have a life of your own because what he is doing is trying to make something out of himself. Shame on you!! shame, shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • VEVO failed when uploading this song, only a minute got uploaded. Yet another proof that VEVO sucks.

  • I always loved that he played the guitar solo on this - terrific sound, very Clapton-esque. Very anti- hair metal for its time ;-)

  • no one beats Bryan adams

  • That's my favourite song number 1 of him.

  • Essa musica é uma das melhores dele muito legal o som. É uma musica completa!

  • @unclebobpart2 or hanging out with Corey Haim....

  • Best Bryan Adams Song ever!

  • @hjallermand i'm afraid tha not . check this: ''everything i do , i do it for you '' !!!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong: didn't this song inspired Toto to record the song "Kingdom of Desire?"

  • I can't stop asking myself this question, and theres NOWHERE you actually can find a great answer, but why is Bryan Adams so extremly underrated? It's so friggin dumb..

  • @Ilovetriops He was not under rated. He was a recognized international superstar and great song-writer.

  • szep a szoveg is

  • In May, In Poland...

  • @natdickstein1 ,In june:)

  • ha Justin Bieber is just ZERO next to this song - I mean although I'm a big fan of Justin!!!

  • ha Justin Bieber is just ZERO next to this song - I mean although I'm a big fan of justin!!!

  • Isso é som!!!!! Nota: 100000000000000000000

  • Bryan Adams is the most underrated singer/songwriter of all time! He doesn't get mentioned among the greats of rock, but HE IS!

This song, as well as many others by Adams, tingles the soul. Anybody who doesn't get touched or excited listening to his music is dead inside and is in no position to talk about music.

  • @bleep77

I agree...Canadian Rock @ Roll Hall of fame recognized him...still here in US..nothing, but we know..the man is good! He can play the hell out that Strat.

  • @bleep77 he should be the one being honoured at this year's MTV VMA's not Britney!

  • @bleep77 to cut this guy's words short, I LOVE YOU Bryan Adams!.

  • A GREAT SONG IN DEED

  • bryan is awsome, ther songs is the best

  • Billboard's #84 song of '87. Bryan hit #2 rock, #6 pop, in the US. Why does he feel that he needs to drop his r's when he sings? He sure doesn't do that when he talks! How'd he do in Canada? God bless, and, Happy new year!

  • # 10 on MTV top 100 videos of 1987

  • "Here I Am" in the "Heat Of The Night" while my friends are on "Cloud Number 9." God in "Heaven" "Everything I Do I Do it for You" "This Time" I will love you "Straight From The Heart" "Please Forgive Me" for I have sinned. I will "Run To You" "I Thought I Had Died And Gone To Heaven" for now I know I will be in Heaven when the time comes.

  • @drummingfreak1996 All that happend in "Summer Of 69"

  • Blood and guts of rock and roll lead guitar solo, Bryan. Very memorable, classy.

In the heat of the night they'll be looking answers...truer words were never spoken

  • I remember when MTV used pump this video back in 1987. this song kicks butt.

  • This is one of my favourite songs ever.

  • HE is. Bring back some of the good old memories with his songs.

  • What things can you do in the heat of the night?

  • Bryan Adams rocks

  • *------------*

    Best of EVER

  • Bewar fellows....there are 12 cockroaches around !!!

  • this song was based on a book from orson welles

    He's the BEST!!!!!!!

  • finally the whole video!

  • Nice song...

  • Is this an original Bryan Adams song? It's been used so much for commercials and such that I forgot that Bryan ever sang it. It does sound like an original, though:)

  • @j941234567 It is! Bryan Adams recorded this for his 1987 album "Into The Fire". The video was inspired by the gripping chases sequence in the Orson Welles film, "The Third Man". Just a little trivia.....

  • his talent stands the test of time as this track proves

  • greeeeaaaat song

  • So many of Bryan's videos are like movies in themselves - good music too.

  • That's a real cracker, f*** me... after such a long time, it blows my mind. I've never been much of an Bryan Adams fan, but this one gets me every time I hear it, again...

  • the best !...reminds me of my high school days...still he is mah fav!

  • lol you should look at the basist in this video XD

  • the lyrics make me wanna barf!

  • Magic song!!!!!!!

  • like it.....

  • Into The Fire has got to be one of the most overlooked albums ever made

  • @bornburied

you are no musican....you are nothing. You are not even cool by telling " Actually I stopped listening to regular radio over 20 years ago", because i never in my live ever listen to radio (i am 40)...i don't need to stop listen to radio.

You are just one of these who think that their tase is better the the taste of others...in other word: you think your shit doesen't smell.....

  • @MabuseXX You mad bro? Just take your medications and run along, the short bus is outside waiting for you.

  • Another class tune.

  • Legjende tkom bre . All-llahu trujt . Vdes mas kongve tua . Simple The Best Bryan .

  • @YourWorstNightmareDK LOL@angry troll-- Actually I stopped listening to regular radio over 20 years ago so no.I never watched Seinfeld either until a couple years after it was a cancelled.Wayyyyyyyyy to busy.

I guess I had a differing opinion about the song from the other "awesome!!!" comments.

Thats all it is my opinion I guess being a musician also makes me a bit biased and allows me to explain my opinions relevance in detail.

    Have a great day!

  • @YourWorstNightmareDK Youtube has created a new paradox-Before people would say "How do you know? Have you ever listened to it before? Now it's like "Well your stupid why did you listen to it if you hated it??!!"

How the fuck would you ever know if you didn't? LOLz

Besides who said I listened to it again??

No it was just the truth.Sorry are you BA or somebody who has a vested interest? or are you just a troll trying to reach out?(who has probably never been laid)

    ;-)

  • @bornburied

    you spelled canadian wrong.

    so typical of an american.

  • @alix2cute Oh Cana-derp!

  • @alix2cute He did it on purpose, probably. Why are u knocking Americans? An American discovered most of everything related to you listening to videos on YouTube...have some respect or grow a dick...

  • @PlanTonto grow a dick? lawls im a girl.... genius

and he was knocking my nationality so why cant i knock his, hmm? freedom of speech, or in this case typing, beeetches

  • @alix2cute My parochial apologies, Ali. If he started it, then he's an idiot. We don't have beef with our neighbors to the North. But not all American's are bad either...sounds like that dude is the one that needs to grow a dick...I hope I got it right this time...LOL....thanx for straightening me out, Ali...Peace!

  • @PlanTonto yeah sorry i got a little sharp with you, i dont really mind americans, its just when people say ignorant stuff like that i wanna say something. i was kinda shocked you stood up for a troll tho... lol

    bye then

  • Awesome Well Done

  • Bryan Adams is a icon of rock music.

  • Bryan Adams is AWESOME!!! He is the only musician who has always remained in my top 5 faves since the first time I heard one of his songs. I saw him in concert in '08 and he sounded even better live than he does recorded!

  • I just saw him live..It was incredible!

  • @kickuindaforehead wonderful.

  • a rocking song with a bluesy sound..

  • Great song, great video, and amazing guitar work.

  • The legendary Mr. Bryan Adams!! I love him!! He rocks in concert!!

I finally got lucky enough to see him in August 2005. I waited 20 long years later after Summer of 69 was big. I was only 12 then!!! My early 32nd birthday present and my best friend's early 31st birthday present!!

  • Bryan Adams has a lot of good songs

  • Okay, it's official. Bryan Adams is the BEST, and I do mean the BEST, singer I have ever heard in my entire life.

  • @Kovu427 amen to that :)

im only 18 and i love ALL of his songssss

  • @Kovu427 i like him a lot, but not as much as corey hart

  • @Kovu427 I AGREE WITH YOU SO MUCH MAN!

  • @Kovu427 I AGREE! You know, i believe he should be more consider like one of the best voices of all times...but you know, we see that thins when people pass away! Its cool to see now, how great he is!

  • @Kovu427 Try Sting solo, or with The Police ;)!!

  • @Kovu427 You may want to qualify that a bit. Perhaps give a listen to John Lennon, Elvis Presley, Bono, Paul McCartney (during The Beatles), Rod Stewart when he sang with Jeff Beck, Ray Charles... I appreciate your enthusiasm...Bryan is a true master and their is none better in Canada that I have heard. But listen to the quality of these guys. I mean seriously listen to their timbre, tone, subtleness and delivery.

  • @Kovu427

it seems you 've never heard mike patton or chris cornell sing :)

  • @Kovu427 u havent heard of freddy mercury have u?

  • it's a legend

  • Into the Fire was miles better than Reckless. Adams most unique album to date.

    There, i said it.

  • @MisterWhat

    I thought so too.

  • Be careful, kids- MisterWhat is not only a greasy little spickball pervert, he's also a massive paedo. If you see him talking about video games or Justin Bieber, he is grooming you. Interpol have him recorded as a registered sex-offender. Ignore him, and if possible, donate what you can to have him painfully castrated in prison.

  • @MisterWhat Sick, I just searched his info. I hope they catch him and he gets raped in jail! Check out his page atyoutubedotcom /MisterWhat and let him know what you think of him.

  • @MisterWhat you said it and you are wrong. The riff on 'Somebody' alone blows away any of the shit in 'into the fire.'........Adams could never ever replicate the spontaneous (under-engineered) brilliance of Reckless.....too bad....

  • I love everything he has ever done...what a voice.

  • @tdes111 Damn hater. THIS IS REAL MUSIC! Today's music is crap, and extremely horrid, it has no passion, no soul, and for f#!% sakes NO EMOTION!

  • if i was in a nightmare on elm street film...this would so be my song<3

  • Bryan Adams pwned the '80's for a time...I was thinking about this song earlier, thinking about how awesome it was, thinking about how wicked it would be if Eric Clapton covered it (not that he could do a better job of it...it just sounds like a good Clapton tune with the bluesy guitar fills and all)...and then I remembered Clapton pretty much stole this tune lock, stock and barrel with "Pretending", released a couple of years later.

  • @SGBassplayer - great point. I never considered that before- but you are absolutely right! I listened to both songs and Clapton surely did rip him off here.

  • remembering hearing this song when i lived in mass. yrs. ago. old school music...

cool, i didnt realize Bryan Adamas sang this song,,, love this song.

  • am i wrong to think hes really hot? lol he never did it for me before... dayummmmm

  • saw him in cleveland on april 21 2010 with only a guitar and a piano. what a voice he has. looking forward to seeing him again in concert. God gave him talent and he has used it well. thanks for the night in cleveland bryan!

  • This is a great song that brings me back to great times in my life.....man! how I wish I could go back.
