Everyone was so concerned about communism back in the 80s, however you forget that facism was alive and kicking in Spain under Franco.
Thank you Barosso for reminding us of that horrible time for the Spanish people.

i love the EU however i am against all this bureaucracy crap. The new WU president should be more powerful. and should be VOTED BY THE PEOPLE. then the EU will be the future

I can't stand to see the twisting of History. The collapse of the wall, and therefore, of the Communist, was a triumph of the PEOPLE, but not from the Capitalism or the Democracy, as they try to let us thinks. And I've started to doubt about the utility of those two things. Capitalism is as repulsive as the Communism from the URSS.
