  • and to think 99% of people only know of the Boys Are Back In Town... wow what the others are missing!

  • This will be the song I listen to on December 21st 20012, perfect song to end all life to.

  • I loved Thin Lizzy as a child, as a teenager, I love them now, I'll love them 'till the day I die!

  • Fantastic. Brings back so many memories.

  • fucking alwsome!!!

  • Sounds great on 8-track late at night.

  • This song is my life in 3:32. Have the tattoo to prove it as a tribute to this song. favorite band and favorite singer of all time. \m/ \m/

  • Want this played at my funeral, plz.

  • i love this song ♥

  • I played this song to my wife, then she understood me.

  • The Song is based on the Wild Geese. The Flight of the Wild Geese refers to the departure of an Irish Jacobite army under the command of Patrick Sarsfield from Ireland to France, as agreed in the Treaty of Limerick on October 3, 1691, following the end of the Williamite War in Ireland.More broadly, the term “Wild Geese” is used in Irish history to refer to Irish soldiers who left to serve in continental European armies in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Thanks to (Christy Bagnall for the info)

  • The Guitar Solo Has A Hole In It!!!!!! How Rude!!!!!

  • :( I'll be listening to Phils beautiful voice till I die, they just dont make music like this anymore.

  • Why do other bands bother? No one can ever come close to Lizzy. The greatest band the Earth has ever known.

  • is phil playing a ricky?

  • @jmoney31705 Yes.

  • cool song and a good year for rock (1975)

  • Long overdue. Please, now think about it. How many bands were heavily influenced by these Irish Lads? The Fighting album is such an under the radar record...why? The R&R Hall Of Fame must be purely based on record sales and cute hair styles...I guess.

  • Went full screen on this one to lose the gaga(ca-ca) in the corner, the boys never looked better! Oh, yeah, this tune will break yer heart if you or somebody you loved was ever a wild one..Thin Lizzy=immortal songs..

  • Gorham & Robertson are the best duo.

  • Guitar Twins!!!

  • @Grumberf

Adrian Smith and Dave Murray of Iron Maiden have often credited Thin Lizzy's twin guitar hero's as their template.

  • Who's the flat-chested chick on guitar ?

  • The best! Period!

  • they influenced Iron Maiden. That';s been documented. The dual guitar melody is sped up by Maiden but similar tone to Thin Lizzy.

  • @TheCozybear65 Check this song from 1967 out - 'Children of Tomorrow' by the Mike Stuart Span - DQ6T1-KOTK8 - dual guitars in that Lizzy/Maiden vein, who knows if they were an influence but still cool to hear.
