  • come check out my mash up if u could guys?? just made it and thought i would come check out what others have to offer.. this vid is great!

  • more than 3 songs => you'll probably end up with a clashup, but if it works it's definetly a smashup! btw is the mashup competition still on??

  • it is possible to cut the vocals out of a track if you have a acapella or vice versa with a instrumental. if you dont have either, you can cut a instrumental loop and double it and use it where a loop similar to that loop later in the song... what you do is that you get audacity or another sound program, and you turn the phase of one of the tracks and play them at the same time. then the track with the opposite phase will draw is self from the other track

  • hey man i want to do a mash up with led zeppelin and a electronic song any pointer?

  • Sir, how can i get the right beat? :D

  • @CherryAK74 just fiddle with the pitch controls till they sound right :)

  • @CherryAK74 beat match first then use the turn tables to speed or slow down the song ;)

  • Check out this mashup/Blend I did on Sony Acid 6.0

  • how do you take vocals away and that?

  • not possible to strip vocal from a track thats already pressed.. you just need to find an instrumental.. you can usually get em on singles.

  • so u cant actualy take away a sound from a song, even with a good mixer?

  • nope, not really... with a mixer you can cut the hi eq and some mids...but it cant completely take away the vocals..thats only possible in the studio with whoever made the song, who has access to each individual track (vocals, synth, drums, bassline etc)..

  • i seee! ok thanks alot!

  • Yea same question here, for many of the mashups played on youtube they use acapella from one song and the instrumental of another, is that done with software and not turntables?

  • There is a way to remove vocals from a song. Not with a mixer though

  • how much you pay for that mixer

  • that is a Pioneer DJM600... it runs around 899.99 USD

  • how much you pay for that mixer
