A tiny amount of Chrome is mixed in with the Polished Gold to make a lighter gold color. So the layers go Glorious Gold, Polished Gold, Polished Gold + Chrome mix.
I was curious to understand why in th elast highlight you used a little "silver". It seems to me it would contrast with the gold color so I don't understand. Would you mind explaining that?
Very cool technique. I've always liked this type of gold ever since I saw your first DE fig years ago. These guys and your Turquoise / Purple Eldar were some of my favorite figures that you've done.
