  • @secretsoflongevity Thanks Zak. I will be making a donation to you. so the mixture you apply to ur teeth is neem oil, clove, cardamon, & cinnamon bark? anything else? much appreciated

  • @chrisMcG17 There's a bunch in there, just don't put eucalyptus oil into your mouth orally as it is toxic. If you keep to traditional spices as essential oils they're safe for internat use. I also have spearmint and mild thyme oil in there.

  • Your remark on using quartz crystal in dentistry is very interesting... I read that holistic dentist Dr. Morales in Mexico uses them in crowns and in accordance to teeth meridians, where each tooth corresponds to certain body organ... But can't find much more info on using the quartz...do you have any other sources?

  • @Kirushka1 Nope except I'd recommend you contact Dr. Robert Cassar as he has amethyst fillings done in Mexico.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Actually, he seems to send ppl to Dr. Morales that I mentioned. I was wondering why I can't find any more information on this technique, he can't be the only one... thnx.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Are you familiar with implants? It would be great to have dental implants that were a natural material that would mimic the bone but would be safe..

Also I'm a vegetarian for many years, though I am open to having occasional fresh caught fish, my dental health is a big concern I want to do all I can to improve it's state so you would highly recommend I begin slowly introducing animal meats? Starting with the right, highest quality sea foods perhaps & are red meats necessary?

  • @twohseven I know OF dental implants but I don't know of their health effects. Keeping your teeth should always be priority #1.

If you were having teeth problems on a vegetarian diet I would first recommend cutting out all grains and beans. Also watch the video that will be uploaded in 25 minutes ;) That's funny you should ask when this is almost done!

  • In Nagel's book, are there protocols for healing cavities that revolve solely around supplements? Secondly, does a cavity fill itself in?

  • mmh:) Why are you so friendly? And what are the blend of essentiel oils you use? Do you have seen mathew "juice fast dental" video. Its great. he also use kingfisher glycerin toothpaste. beside this its great. two sympathic people. his channels is "be ure potentiel".

  • What is your opinion on Dr. Brian Clement of the Hippocrates Institute.

  • @postitivehealthylife o_o

Search "Brian Clement" or "Hippocrates Institute" on my channel page.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Thanks.

Brian is very interesting. He says all meat and even raw dairy causes cancer. He eats no animal products. Gets tons of sprouts for protein. Says raw vegans live the longest. It's really hard to figure out if raw vegan is the way to go or if animal products is the better way. I see on your channel you were once raw and now have eat animal products. Why the change?

  • @postitivehealthylife /watch?v=ORszIA3I1kY

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Thanks I will check it out.

  • so you icluded animal foods after you last videoseries on teeth?

  • How do other bluegreen algae product compare to E3live, such as Earth Shift's Blue green algae?

  • What do you do for a job? Im addicted to your videos, and you seem to have a lot of time on your hands. No disrespect intended, just wondering :)

  • @foreigneez This is my job. I get income from affiliates, consultations and a small amount from adsense ads. I also do some social media contract work for businesses.

  • Is glycerine bad for you or just if it's in your tooth paste? My liquid stevia has a glycerine base.

On a completely different note: I started brushing my teeth with this strange badger hair and wooden handle tooth brush. All I noticed at first was that the bristles were softer. But after using the badger hair brush for a week; I tried my old brush and couldn't stand it. So I only noticed most of the differences when trying to go back to my old brush.

  • What is the name of quartz crystal filling? I can't find biocompatible teeth filling material besides DiamondLite, and I heard the company who manufactures DiamondLite has discontinued the product.

  • stevia is good for your teeth

  • @ningram4 It's not that it's good for your teeth, it's neutral and far less damaging than sugar.

  • Will Double Strength Cod Liver Oil pill works? Also Can wheatgrass juice help to reverse Cavities and tooth aches? What about Yogurt?

  • @dell1972 Fermented cod liver oil has certain nutrients made more available in it, but regular cod liver oil is great too although I'd only recommend the Carlson brand.

Yes as I mentioned in the video including green juices and green vegetables is an essential component. All raw dairy products are excellent for your teeth if they work for you.

  • @dell1972 ''Double Strength Cod Liver Oil '' is next to worthless, won't do a thing. the cod liver oil has to be fermented and properly prepared.

  • @cherrypopsiclesful Thank you very much! I brought some regular cod liver oil pills this week to help with my toothache and to help built my tooth. It haven't done nothing. I will buy some Fermented Cod Liver in a week. Is it better to buy liquid or pill from Green Pasture?

  • @dell1972 Yes, get Green Pastures.

A mix of butter oil, - with fermented cod liver oil.

Yes Green Pastures are the most revered and respected , and most value for money brand. Each bottle gives 120 capsules, if you do the liquid it's better value yet.

I prefer the capsules because of the taste, and convenience.

Take with astaxanthin if you want too for more benefits.

  • @cherrypopsiclesful i took both seperat cause i thought it better to be kosher. now i learn kosher people also eat sweet white bread. so ill take he royal blend next time.

  • Secretsoflongevity:

I keep coming back and back to seeing Mr. McDougalls program high on starches instead of fruit.

What are your thoughts on this?

  • @CBasie2856 What do you mean coming back and back?

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

I keep rewatching Dr. McDougall's videos from time to time again, realizing he has quite a few valid points made out about the starch diet.

He says that every successful culture in history had starches as the major source of their calories.

The Native Americans, Indian people, Africans, Okinawa, South American Indians, Aztecs, Chinese, Thailand all based their diets on starchy foods as the staple like corn, potatoes, yams, taro, cassava, squash, etc..

  • @CBasie2856 also, starches are very important in making the transition from hunter-gather to civilization because of their storage and mass production capabilities. McDougall notes this.

  • @oineezzz

perhaps it wasn't a meat based diet that allowed us to move into colder climates. Dr. McDougall notes that it was actually the starch that allowed us to do this.

  • @CBasie2856 Meat allows us to move into a variety of climates, but you can't mass produce meat, food will always be somewhat unreliable and in limited quantity. This is why we see meat based hunter-gatherers in a variety of climates, but no civilizations without starches.

  • @CBasie2856 in my opinion and experience fruit based diets seem to be better for inflammation problems than starches (I get some dandruff, blackheads when eating McDougall diet, yet not when eating fruit). However, fruit appears to be problematic for, not all, but many people's teeth, whereas starches are relatively safe for everyone. For a successful and long lived culture, the diet must work for everyone.

  • @oineezzz

    thanks for sharing your information.

i believe that fruit may effect the teeth in the short term, but if we become healthy, the teeth will repair themselves as a side effect of becoming healthy

  • @CBasie2856 Clealry there are people who maintain their dental health on fruit diets, but I've personally never found someone who has had their teeth and gums become badly damaged by fruit, then heal later. I've searched all the raw vegan forums and wasn't able to find any documented cases. I was very interested because a high-fruit raw diet did damage my teeth, but was beneficial to other areas of my health, so I was very keen to try and solve the issue and continue the diet.

  • @oineezzz

well no diet is 100% perfect.

I'm glad you got many benefits out of the fruit diet.

Each diet has its own benefits and are each good in their own way. Starch based diets are high energy diets and for athletic performers. Fruit and vegetable diets are for radiant health and specific diseases. Meat/omnivore diets are for general health and bodybuilding.

You can probably restore your teeth btw if you included some grass fed liver or raw goat milk cheese like Zak says.

  • @CBasie2856 The benefits of fruitarian were good, but ultimately the diet for me was unsustainable because of dental issues, so I've lost all the benefits now. In my opinion there has to be a diet that is entirely healthy, with no health trade offs. McDougal diet or W. Price diet are good for dental health, but I'm still searching for ways to incorporate sugar into my diet, without having it be detrimental to dental health, as I'm not satisfied with the results of sugarless diets.

  • @oineezzz

Well as the Okinawans eat, they eat a diet high in unprocessed starches. This should get you your glucose requirements.

I recommend the starches such as sweet potatoes, maize, squash, carrots, green beans, taro, cassava, yams, white rice as being the staple of the diet.

I don't recommend too much of potatoes(white, red, or gold kind) or breads, grains(best kinds are spelt, kamut) and pasta(rice pasta), because these are either processed or high glycemic.

  • @CBasie2856 starches provide a dietary form of glucose, correct, but still have a different reaction in the body to simple sugars from food such as fruit. When I eat an Okinawan type of diet I still have dandruff, oily hair, blackheads. I've found little difference in regards to sweet potatoes, white potatoes or taro roots etc, but can treat the issues by replacing the starches with fruit...but then my dental health deteriorates.

  • @oineezzz

you might want to try using herbs with the fruit. You are probably not using herbs, that's why.

perhaps you are not eating enough leafy greens.

If you have heard of Dr. Robert Morse, check out his heal all tea, alfalfa tea, endocrine gland formula, lymphatic formulas.

  • @CBasie2856 I've eaten parsley and basil; didn't notice anything, but I wasn't doing that routinely. I of course was eating greens, and even then I haven't come across anyone 811er healing dental problems by increasing greens..

I haven't heard of that tea, and I am of course skeptical that adding something so minor to the diet would fix dental problems, but I'll see if I can get my hands on some herbal tea.

  • @CBasie2856 Ultimately, I feel the issue seems to be with fruit consumption, as opposed to lacking something that I need to add, as simply replacing fruit with starch seems to be much better. I notice a very dry mouth, regardless of how much water I drink when I eat pure 811 high fruit. This is a sign of reduced saliva production. This may be related to thyroid issues, but I'm not sure.

  • @oineezzz

the only reason why I suggested herbs is to allow your body to heal your teeth. Sometimes, raw cheese or liver can be added to your detox plan.

You might want to try the less acidic, less sugary fruits like apples, pears, cucumbers, for example

  • GREAT STUFF..VERY HELPFUL! I SUBSCRIBED. CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL... I THINK THAT YOU WOULD APPRECIATE IT. THANKS!

  • @3gtrainer Cool thanks, just subbed your channel it looks like great stuff!

  • A side effect of my year long Aajonus Primal diet was that my teeth got significantly harder, sensitivity 100% gone.I recently broke off a composite filling and even though 1/4 of my molar was gone I had zero pain and only got it fixed, with no anesthetic, because it was sharp.

Also wouldn't it be cool if people just read the Price book Nutrition &PD for themselves and used a brain cell or 2 instead of parroting what they heard others say?

  • @CharlesTRose Nice! And yeah the parroting misinformation is irritatiiinngggg! Lol...

  • Why is it then that fruitarians have no teeth issues? Durianrider says he has had zero tooth problems ever since he went vegan. Do you think he's lying? Also, watch durianriders latest vid about Weston Price...his book recommends eating lots of wheat and only an egg sized amount of meat a day. You are cutting out grains and eating loads of meat...I say this only because you reference WP quite a bit in this vid. Do you agree with everything WP says? Thanks.

  • @LuluBre02 TONS of fruitarians have teeth issues. I was just scanning through their forums the other day and came across someone who was complaining of major teeth pain and the advice people were giving them was to eat MORE FRUIT!!! Slow oxidizers can function on higher carbohydrates without getting teeth problems but fast oxidizers like myself get tons of cavities on a high carb diet.

It's also not just cavities that can be a problem either. A receding gum line is a major problem among...

  • @SecretsOfLongevity ...raw foodists. Seen it firsthand with people in my community. Staining of the teeth (loss of enamel), yellowing of the teeth (either stains or a loss of enamel to such an extent that the dentin is showing through which is yellow in colour). A couple of fruitarian teachers have extremely yellow teeth.

I do NOT subscribe to WAPF's philosophies. They have some great information that's for sure just as the Hippocrates Health institute does.

    Harley's great at disinformation ;)

  • @SecretsOfLongevity ZAK you also used a lot of tonics and superhrerbs to improve your health. My teeth also get more decay on a fruit lifestyle. while i never follow it right. still i feel great when being so light and easy digestable foods. still i had often digestive issues. i just realiz some animal products give me tension. so i try to be like okinawas or chinese. with little animal products and more carbs. i dont know what wrong with me is it the diet. or the friends, the life, the spirit

  • @SecretsOfLongevity thank you ZAK for your infos and your effort to give us good wise funy loveful education and attention

  • @LuluBre02

its because fruitarians give up grains nuts and seeds, or only eat them in very low quantities. This is the key for not developing cavities. Obviously fat soluble vitamins are important to. Phytic acid, which is in grains nuts and seeds, it reduces mineral absorption more than 50% in some cases! even with the food you eat after.

Fruit is not nearly as detrimental to tooth decay as nuts seeds and grains are. I know this from exp..

  • I wouldn't recommend a fruitarian diet though because its kind of rediculous to limit your self so much. I don't know why every guru seems to be so extreme, either a fruitarian or a primal. Theres room in between, and I think the key is to separate when you eat fruit and other foods. A no fruit diet can also be too extreme, except for the case when you are trying to heal a compromised immune system. Once you heal your immune system fruit becomes a good source of energy and enzymes...

  • It's interesting that dairy is promoted so heavily by the Weston Price Foundation and Nagel when of all the traditional diets Price researched only two of them (Swiss, Maasai) contained any dairy whatsoever.

  • @oineezzz The point is that each of those cultures had a source of vitamin K2. For the one's who didn't consume dairy (and there's many dozens of cultures Dr. Price didn't get to study who consumed fermented dairy) they had other sources of these nutrients.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity that's true, it's just an observation I had. K2 is in grass fed dairy, but it is also in a variety of animal food; dairy is certainly not required to have healthy teeth. Perhaps the emphasis is because raw dairy is illegal, so it's part of their campaign to overturn that law. Also, it could be because raw dairy is more palatable than, say, eating a raw liver, like in the American Indian diet, so it's a more appealing way for people to get nutrietns.

  • @oineezzz Very true, also I'm assuming that the majority of the WAPF's audience is largely people with a racial background that has the lactase persistence adaptation.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity What i find intersted. that only one culture was milk based. still the WAPF is supporting lots of milk and diary. Yeah i beleave animal foods might halthy for some. but sally fallon really look aboese. and her skin is strange. ... I cant eat her arguments anymore. While some knowledge is realy wise...

  • I totally agree that getting enough greens is important too because, for a while I was supplementing cod liver oil and k2 and my teeth were still hurting a lot until I started doing green juices on a daily basis. Now it looks like my cavities are healing...

The fat soluble vitamins only work if you are getting enough minerals!

  • @todayisthedaytolive Great point, yeah it's the vitamins the transport the minerals into the bone matrices!

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

    Exactly!

  • @todayisthedaytolive maybe NATOO is a good way for k2. is cheeses also rich in k2. and good pure soy yoghurt. with spring water, soymilk(french organicfarmed) and cultures?

  • @todayisthedaytolive this is a great point. i remeber the good experiencei had with vitaminerlas from health force. but they are pricy. and also the rawfoodworld chlorella let vanish my tooth pain when being in oslo...

  • @anyuisbjoern

Chlorella helped your teeth? I haven't had chlorella for a long time. That makes sense especially because it has chlorella growth factor. I want to try it again!

  • @todayisthedaytolive nice... i think the rawfoodworld chlorella i had is different from the one i buy here in germany. this is made to eat a lot and the german is to only eat one or two. ...

  • I always considered buying that butter oil, but I can't afford it, so I use Ghee and supplement vitamin k2 instead...

  • I gave up all grains nuts and seeds recently because of the phytic acid content. Hemp seeds are the only seeds that I consume b/c it has no phytic acid. I learned the hard way by getting cavities by over eating raw nut butters which are extremely high in this antinutrient. Sour dough bread is the safest grain food that has the least phytates...

  • Hey Zak I have some old SurTrival colostrum that may be bad I'm not sure, could you tell me how to read the date stamp on the bottom? It reads 11/0214. I don't know if the 11 is the year or the 14 thanks for any help you could provide.

  • @OrigamiThoughts It'd be best if you contacted them as I have no idea.

  • Hey Zak, currently I'm unable to get grass fed meat because my farmers market is closed until May so my question is, do you think its in my best interest to just avoid all grain fed meats from my local grocery stores aswell as fish?

  • @Mitchell9oh5 If you can get organic, hormone free meat and supplement with a highish dose of fish oil this can offset the omega 6's in the meat, but of course you're not getting as many benefits of vitamins and minerals etc.

  • i knew it was the grudge when i saw the vid this morning, but i wanted to give others a chance. ;)

  • @filteredglitch I could have saved so much on shipping costs if you had got it right!!! :p

  • what about silica minerals ? g5 ? what about ionic minerallife magnesium ?

  • @cherrypopsiclesful Not a fan of isolated supplements.

  • For German viewers. if you wanna translate something english in german on this topic.

  • @anyuisbjoern ramiel is looking for someone who translate his stuff lowbudget or nobudget to german.

  • @anyuisbjoern but not in French?

  • @ThomasDeanNordlum maybe one time. right now he is looking for someone for his english videos. To translate them in German for his German Book release.

  • How to keep your kitchen clean when using animal products?

  • @anyuisbjoern Two spray bottles, one filled with white vinegar one with 3% H2O2 and clean your counters and cutting boards with this. One spray of the vinegar, wipe down then the H2O2. You can't mix them in the same bottle or they'll become deactivated in their anti-bacterial properties.

It's been shown to kill off 99.9% of pathogens on surfaces.

  • Okay . , but

    1) what if the tooth is dead(or supposedly based on what the dentist says), but still intact, ?

I mean to say, it's still in whole but not activtaed.

Does that make any sense ?

  • @cherrypopsiclesful Aggressively pursue this approach.

  • cinnemon tingle butter oil cod liver oil mixture is not bad to taste. not bad at all. chocolat is okay, but i prefer cinnamon.

  • One thing about Nagel that I don't get (I read his book) is that he says not to eat white rice, then on his videos and radio interviews, he says it's okay to have white rice. who knows, maybe he had a white rice epiphany after the book was published? I think Nagel doesn't recommend sprouted grain either. I make sour dough bread from my own starter.

  • @ThomasDeanNordlum Ramiel recommend sprouted and saoked grain. And he recommend White Rice in little tooth decay. In Severe bad cavity he says to avoid white rice aswell. White rice is ok cause it has no phytic acid. Still its a grain and has empty nutrients.

  • @anyuisbjoern really? Cos I swear I heard him say sprouted grain bread was something to stay away from and I am sure I read it in his book. I got it at the library, so I can't check. It may be better to just go straight to the source though, and read Nutrition and Physical Degenerat-something . . .désolé, l'anglais n'est pas ma langue. I found the same info in Nourishing traditions too, just not talking about teeth constantly.

  • @ThomasDeanNordlum he has both opinion it depends on the stage of cavities you are into it. Which book you have the first or the second edition. he has a comunity dot curetoothdecaycom ? otherwiese. im the opinion WAPF has a different opinion than Weston Price had. Whatever.... look which edition you have of his book. the last came out 2011. The next version will be a german version. ask your question at the cuminity.

  • @anyuisbjoern I don't know. I got it at the library, probably old edition. There probably are differences from WAP and WAPF, but all the info about fermented codliver oil, butter oil, organs, bone broth, properly prepared grains, fermented foods, all of that is in Fallon's cook book.

  • its true that eating a low carb meat based diet will keep you away from cavities, because it doesn't have any sugar in it. but cooking meat makes it harder to regenerate teeth. to regenerate teeth, it would be best to eat your meat raw.

Fruit in the short term might actually cause tooth decay, but in the long term, if all your organs and glands are functioning properly, then your teeth should be able to regenerate on a fruit based diet.

  • @CBasie2856 Cooking meat doesn't make it harder for you to regenerate your teeth. Fat soluble vitamins aren't damaged by heat.

"then your teeth should be able to regenerate on a fruit based diet." Key word... SHOULD. While people who are carb adapted don't get cavities on a high fruit diet, if you start the diet with teeth problems you won't regenerate your teeth without the building blocks for your teeth (calcium in high enough amounts along with phosphorous and vitamins A, D and K1 and K2).

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

according to what you said, how come I was on a high fat cooked meat diet, and my teeth didn't regenerate?

All those vitamins except vitamin D(the vitamin the skin makes when it comes in contact with suns rays) that you mentioned can be supplied in a diet of only fruits, vegetables, and nuts and seeds. Some of Vitamin K1 from these foods is converted to K2 in the body. Calcium and phosphorus is found in nuts and seeds and green leafy vegetables.

  • @CBasie2856 Like I said in the video it's the quantities of fat soluble vitamins that you can't get in high enough amounts in proportion to he quantities of plant foods eaten. Also like I mention constantly in my videos and you can find references in past videos, vit. A (retinol) is not found in plant foods. More than half of all people can't readily convert enough beta-carotene to retinol. Not enough K2 is converted in the gut to regenerate your teeth. We're talking about large amounts of...

  • @SecretsOfLongevity ...these vitamins getting into the diet, not just meeting the measly RDA standards. What were you eating on a high fat cooked meat diet? Were you eating grass fed ruminants, organ meat at least twice a week, wild caught seafood and fermented raw dairy? That's what I'm talking about in this video, not the factory farmed meat Atkins diet.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

I was trying to eat as much organic grass fed meat as I could.

I ate minimally processed meat. I ate cooked grass fed liver and raw cheese from Whole Foods, from minimally processed Angus burgers and chicken wings you would buy at Costco, I bought organic grass fed eggs at Whole Foods, and sometimes I would get grass fed Angus beef from Costco.

it was really expensive. I don't mess with meat anyways anymore, since most meat is factory farmed.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

I forgot to mention that sometimes I would buy organic chicken at Tenuta's.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

    quantities of vitamins?

or is it the ability to utilize vitamins, like Dr. Robert Morse says?

If Robert Morse's cases are true, he has said in the past that he has regenerated teeth on a fruit diet.

  • @CBasie2856 Quantities, so Dr. Weston Price talks about how traditional diets in comparison to modern diets contains 10x the fat soluble vitamins and 4x the minerals. A whole food high raw diet might do OK on the minerals but it would not have the same abundance of fat soluble vitamins.

Interesting, I wish Dr. Morse labelled his videos better so they could be searched by subject.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

Well actually, you could just use the search option and just type in individual problems and see if they pop up.

Some people on his videos will pinpoint the addressed issues with the timing on the video and will comment on his video.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity what actually is the butter oil ? does it have k2 in it or is the k2 a by product of the fermentation ??

  • @cherrypopsiclesful They spin butter in a centrifuge and an oil comes out of it. It's high in what they call activator X or the X factor which is suspected to be K2 (highest in the fat content of dairy when cows are eating rapidly growing spring grass). K2 is also made during fermentation in the cod liver oil, hard cheeses, natto (fermented soy) and very small amounts in fermented veggies. Grass fed ghee has some in it as well but again it's not as concentrated.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity

I have found that if I combine heavily processed food with fruit, it has a much worse effect on my teeth than if I eat a raw food diet alone.

Not to say that I am on a processed food diet :) I try to stick to as high raw as possible, and if I eat cooked food, I eat potatoes and squash, and sweet potatoes.

One time I ate a cheeseburger cause there was nothing else to eat(lol), I felt the acidity on my gums.

    I

  • @StarcraftAlphaBeta Oh no,Weird dude. i would delete that first part if i were you zak lol

  • Watch out Zak, a lot of crazy people have intense mastication fetishes on youtube. They go around masturbating to people's video's of teeth clacking and teeth crunching stuff. I once even found a dude that had like 500 favorited videos of every single video of men chewing stuff. From there I noticed he was friends with another 25 channels where people have mastication fetishes!

  • @StarcraftAlphaBeta WTF!!! LOL... Luckily with the youtube editor I can clip off the beginning and end of the video. I might do that.

  • That Sounds like the grudge by Tool!

  • @todayisthedaytolive ahhh damn you're right! lol I was gonna say YYZ by Rush

  • @todayisthedaytolive but I knew I'd heard it before

  • @todayisthedaytolive damn, you beat me to it

  • @todayisthedaytolive Congrats, lol, first comment get's it right!

  • @todayisthedaytolive Send me your address if you'd like me to send you my CD. It's an ambient CD I made with a friend.
