o dammn therez barely any room left on the field and the fans were still pouring in... go R.U.... i was one of the idiots students who ran into the field the first time
Just saw the preview to "Perfect Effort" about De La Salle's 12 year winning streak. It looks like a pretty inspirational movie. Search for it on youtube or it's website perfecteffort (dot) com
What a bunch of crap. Rutgers should have been penalized 15 yards for the first time their fans ran out onto the field when the game was not even over. Guess who's in BCS BABY!!!! ORANGE BOWL!!!!
As one of the 44,000+ who attended this game(Sec 208, 50 yard line) I can honestly say this was the greatest sporting event that I've ever attended..and I've been to some great ones!
The crowd was nothing less than electric the entire night. The 2nd half, however, was just crazy..everyone were standing and yelling their heads off. The noise was deafening on quite a few occasions....just an awesome experience!
sorry i find it funny as your like 44,000 thousand plus as a great number or something try beaver stadium sometime with 110,000 peolpe and better fans, but besides that i was cheering for rutgers in this game and great to see them win
bolich: I realize 44,000 isn't a big number compared to some of the massive stadiums around the country. I've been in much larger stadiums myself but I don't think they were as loud as RU's stadium on this night. Everyone were on their feet and screaming their heads off, particularly in the 2nd half. Even Herbstreit mentioned how loud it was. It was awesome.
There are multiple occasions when the center and QB from the visiting team have trouble communicating because they can't hear the snap count...that's how loud we often get. Penn State and all them can have their 100,000 person occupancies...we'll gladly take our deafening 44,000 any day.
just thinkin bout 06 rutgers gets me all emotional lol

That was a great game to be at. Especially since I only paid 9 dollars for my seat.
