  • Great, tense, paranoid flick. Soundtrack is winning.

  • this movie gives us hope.....for those who think they have been left alone, there is at least one person even if he met us yesterday to support us. keep hoping.

  • The OST is a must have in your music collection. Absolute superb choice of tracks through out the film.

  • awesome movie. great music

  • WTF?? this is from babel

  • @folladordeprostis Try again this movie came out YEARS before Babel

  • one of my fav songs in the movie/,,,, and its the greatest movie in the WORLD !!!!!!!!

  • Its played in the scenes which lead up to jeffrey wigand ( russell crowe) giving his deposition in the mississipi courthouse

  • Thanks! Sure would love to see the scene that goes with this piece - the whole cavalcade of cars driving to the deposition, their windshields and metalwork gleaming in the sun. Michael Mann is an audi- visual poet.

  • Yeah this music is from BABEL, not the Insider. I have both soundtracks.

  • Maybe it's from BOTH! I own The Insider and this music is definitely in the movie.

  • Yeah, what the heck, it's great music. The Babel soundtrack, at least the score is almost exclusively Santaolalla.

  • @salukialan The Insider was released seven years before Babel.

  • @salukialan, this song is from the insider, santaolalla makes this song fist for the mann film. Before the insider the same song was used in BABEL. But is original for the insider.

  • SO do, and it IS on both.

  • i watching the insider right now and this song IS in that movie dumbass it's in both movies!!!

  • @salukialan The song; Iguazu is of the Santaolalla album; "Ronroco" of 1998 year, Michael Mann listen from this album and choice for "The Insider", Santaolalla also the use in Babel.

  • And Deadwood. they use it too.

  • very nice music; its also used in "Babel"; the scene, when the rescue helicopter leaves with Susan (Cate Blanchett)

  • Thank you for posting this, I loved the scene this was played over. :)

  • is the same song played in "the football factory"?

  • Errrr no Ill give that a miss.

  • beautiful

  • *merci

  • One of the best movies ever!

  • you have absolutely right

  • Absolutely stunning. I know next to nothing about this type of music and know nothing about the Artist/Composer. And I dont mind admitting that. This is knockout. Many thanks for the upload.

  • Did you see the film?

  • If he does he'll be surprised :-)

  • The song is played on a Charango, a South American (more specifically Andean) stringed instrument (10 strings: 5 sets of two) originally made with the shell of armadillos, now normally made entirely out of wood. The composer is a former rock-band artist called Gustavo Sanaolalla, he also wrote the soundtrack for Motorcycle diaries.

  • ..so, listen to "The Motorcyle Diaries - De Usuahia A La Quiaca".

  • superb

  • So ... Breathtaken
