Danm, the S30Z is one of my dream cars.... I'm in love with this car since I test drove my cusin S30Z back in 2001

I wish my datsun 240z was as strong as his one, though i do have his spoiler and his engine just dont have the turbo kit. Id pay daiki kasho and alan brey for a full version.

@ahhyoufaka Just find a 83 280ZX turbo with the T-5 and your half way there. What he has on that Z is a Jspec kit which you can get at MSA for a few hundred bucks which it looks fairly nice. BUT that 240Z can pit a 350Z easily.

@Jaket2000 the reason why this s30 can pit a 350Z is because it has a legendary inline 6. something that alot of other car companies besides toyota fear. datsun/nissan inline 6's are deadly. will rape any V6-V8 anyday

@Suprastar77 Its a bit more then that, you also got to add in all the other factors or else anyone with a diesel semi-truck is the fastest on the road if its just sheer horsepower. Also there are a few engines the Nissan L-6 has trouble against. Like the RB engines found in the skyline or the inline 6 in a BMW is pretty mean. What the devil Z is a dragster pretty much.

@Jaket2000 no. it has been proven that the 2.8 liter L series Datsun is more powerful than an RB26 when it has been changed from Carburettors to fuel injected. but because the L28 was desighned in the 60's it has mayjor flaws with any electrical imput aplied to the mechanisim of the engine

@Suprastar77 Actually it designed in the late 70s for EFI, the block came from the 60s but the first one was the 2.4ltr based on the MB engines of the time. Now if the final L28E is more powerful the the RB26 then why is the RB26 have 35 more hp? The L28E 77-85 "8 years" RB "85-02" had a production lifespan of 17 years.

@Jaket2000 yes i know very well that it was from the original L24 which is what the L28 is based on but it was also not much different considering there was a 4-5 year gap between them. each RB26 used in the the GTR R34 had very large restrictions due to the gentlemens agreement which is why the RB26 was restricted to 280 HP with twin turbo. the L28E was not. The Power output on the L28 was around 170HP. im not sure about the RB26's output but without turbos it has less power

no.the black gtr in this was a 34,the one in initial d was a 32
