  • Sublime!

  • Thank you!!!

  • In my opinion I thought Sumi Jo sung the most wonderful version of Ave Maria until I came across this video of Inessa Galante's rendition. It’s undoubtable the most haunting I have heard. I truly thank you for this upload otherwise I would never have the pleasure to hear it...

  • I heard this for the first time today at the dry cleaner! I made her dig out her Zune to tell me what it was. She thought the recording was Maria Callas. It didn't sound like a Callas recording (quality too good), but the chills it delivers are the same. Came home and found this version. This is the one she had. I've listened to Sumi Jo's version . . no disrespect, but it doesn't begin to compare to this. This is exquisite.

  • Brava

  • Боже, яка краса!!!

  • The best version I've heard.

  • Un' aria meravigliosa!

  • Of course ! This is the absolute best version of (Caccini´s Ave Maria) as it is called.

An A is absolute the most difficult vocal to sing on. Love it and I have it it different versions. Many thanks

  • One of the best works of Vladimir! It's a pity that his works were ascribed to renaissance composers.

  • @franklindavid Because Vavilov is a believer in the Virgin Mary. It was so unfortunate for him that he is a Russian and during his time, Russia was under communism. Thus, he had to ascribe this work to a Renaissance composer, Giulio Caccini, to avoid being accused as a religious person which was a crime in a communist government.

  • it's beautiful. but there is a resemblance to the jazz song 'all the things you are'. maybe vavilov was inspired by that...however one of the most touching melodys ever..

  • Inessa Galante beats easily SumiJo! The best version I think!

  • @guinulil i prefer the original Nadezhda Vainer version

  • "Ave Maria" is a popular and much recorded aria composed by Vladimir Vavilov around 1970. It is a musical hoax generally misattributed to Baroque composer Giulio Caccini.

  • LIKE SO UNBELIEVABLY MUCH!!!!!!!!

  • forever my favorite song

  • Ms. Inessa Galante's rendition is the most soulful and emotional rendition of Vladimir Vavilov's Ave Maria. I think that this is the most proper way to sing this sacred aria... It has to flow freely from one note to another. After all, it is the Angel of the Lord's message to Mary... due reverence is to be expressed...

  • Shewie...brutally slow pace! Very Beautiful though!

  • je partage votre avis...............

  • by far the best interpretation of this beautiful piece ... bravo Inessa Galante !

  • What a sensitive and beautiful voice. This is how this aria should be sung.

Ful of emotion. Love it. Thankyou.

  • This is exceptionally beautiful, I dont think the orchestration could have been done by a 16th/17th C composer like Caccini. This one's even better than Sumi Jo.

  • This music composed by genial russian Vladimir Vavilov, Look wikipedia. Vladimir Vavilov

  • @Ub836 thanx for that

  • with some of the most beautiful painting it was a pleasure to watch and listen. Thanks for posting.

  • @softundestructible : Thank you very much! I'm delighted that you enjoyed the music and images. Best wishes!
