  • I'm about to buy 2 pieces of Matrox triplehead2go to work like this video above, but still haven't got any answer if I can do it with my PC.

  • @Rodrigopercussa

Pl. see some postings above and at

    matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/connect_multiple_gxms/

    how it works...

    :)

  • Can't they make a monitor with no borders? =O

I can see it now....six screens blending simultaneously together giving the player more vision to his left, his right, up and down?.....woo-wee....

  • TripleHead2Go is great!

Add to that voice control for FSX and FS9 and you will be in simulation heaven.

Try something called "Multi Crew Experience" and you will see what I mean

  • just buy a plane !

  • those bezel ..aaaargh

  • does monitors would be good if u could play a porn game simulator 3D

    everyone would buy that

  • i cant find information on how to run 6 monitors with 2 triplehead2go, does anyone know where i can get this info? thanks

  • Revenge of the Nerds - it was no fictional story

  • This setup, although impressive, is let down by the lack of something called "Multi Crew Experience".

    Total voice control for FSX.

    Google it up! LOL 8-))

  • I am a pilot and I have a very advanced home flight simulator. This cool but I would much rather have an HD projector than this. (and its cheaper) Check out my videos!

  • *buys a 63 inch LED Monitor*

  • just have a really good graphics card and a plasma tv then done

  • The seams! I'd rather buy one huge monitor. DX

  • how the hell does TH2GO software handle 6 screens and x2 hardware?

  • Multi monitors wins over projectors in many aspects specially the felling that you are inside the game because you are actually been surrounded by it however there is the small issue of the monitor's Frames > i will not use this technology (Maybe) until they make monitors without frames just for gaming on this technology.

  • How do you connect more than 2 or more monitors to one hardware???

  • You need a switch

  • You use the TripleHead2Go... not a "switch" >.>

  • Does this have 2 matrox things?

  • gee, that fuel mixture looks a bit lean... :D

  • pity about the edges of the screen amd/ati are working on detection of screen pillars and to reduce the effect. the HD5XXX cards have more outputs for multimonitor support too. they should be releasing a card with 6 outputs within the next month or so

  • need a projector!!!

  • yea i projector can be good instead of spend do much money in 6 monitors wtf !!

  • and a projector has less quality and you have to have a large white surface to use it, oh and you can only use it in the dark or else its all faded, good luck with that in a bright room

  • We're nerds...who even has a bright room??

  • @GatwickSpotting people with windows? people with lights? people with tv's? people that do stuff during the day? conventions? i dont know who use these things called lights?

  • I think you miss understood the joke. People who would go through with something like this are obviously nerds, and do not reach/see the outside world very often.

  • @GatwickSpotting shhh dont let them know that we know

  • Oh yeah D:....*whistles*

  • Also, what monitor beats the resolution that those 6 monitors achive, when combined? NONE! :)

  • There are monitors that beat that resolution, only not for consumers :)

  • I'd like to see proof of that

  • Google "WQUXGA". 4x 1080p resolution. It probably isn't as big as those 6 screens (unles they're 1280 wide, then a WQUXGA screen would be as big as 9 of the LCD's in the video), but in my opinion it would still be great to have one of those, since you woulden't have the edges of the lcd's.

  • I also found this one: Eyevis EYE-LCD6400-4K 4096x1260.

  • Lol 6 years old pilot

  • LOL

  • insane! kinda donate to me haha

  • no to me

  • HOLY SHIT! What resolution was this Running on?

  • maybe 4020 to 2100 lol

  • Umm am I the only one that finds that the borders of the screens take out all the Wowness that these screen could ever offer? I mean, having realistic "blocking sight cockpit lines" is enough... but add the black borders of the screen, and it starts looking like a board game...

  • I guess yes...

Well, i mean, we all know how expensive would be a monitor that large... So i think that the borders are just insignificant to allow playing like that. I use two monitor, play extended desktop sometimes and I tell you these 3head borders are almost nothing...

  • just one word WOW!

  • Just another word...

    LOW_DEF_MONO

& yeah yeah yeah... three words

    WIDE_MODE

But for sure.. it's true... this so-called amzing six screen vid...

IS IN (basic_dull) MONO CH AUDIO.

  • thats annoying that the black borders are there

  • is it possible to remove parts of the monitor frame to get rid of those edges? or is there still something behind the frame stopping that?

  • For 3 displays: yes, if you use a "curved display" (just google it), or much cheaper: trick it with "Matrox Bezel Management"

  • awesome

  • I want it haha Lol

    Great vid...

  • Wouldn't been better and cheaper to just get a 50" flat screen TV??

  • You wouldn't have the same resolution.

  • it doesn't work that way. cant get surround gaming.

  • no, surround gaming!

  • can you use 2 triplehead2gos i would like to get a second one and 3 extra monitors if they do ive heard some people say you can and some you cant use 2 so please help me out

  • lucky

  • The edges of the monitors are way too thick, that'd put me off

  • borders are too big XD

  • future pilot today is a game in future is a real life...

    lol

  • Is there a driver will make the Matrox G400 work with FSX?

  • Yes, this is no problem, this would be a standard dual-monitor-configuration, but of course in "independent"-mode, not in "stretched/expanded-desktop"-mode. You can try and test it yourself with your hardware already available: drive 2 of your 22"-displays with TripleHead2Go in DualHead-mode (2x1680x1050) and drive the 3rd 22" with the second DVI-port of your GTX280...

  • I thought Matrox did not recommend that setup, I mean, using 2 th2go in one box.

Does it really work? In that case how do they all sync viewport to each other? FSX does allow to move windows to other monitors, but for that setup you would have to have one big resolution, right?

  • ok my gtx handelle 3 22 inch screen from one single dvi out put but my question is can i use my second card dvi to connect 1 more monitor

    1 dvi with triplehead2go = 3 monitor

    1 dvi with 1 19 inch monitor?===<can i add this

  • very nice but can u tell me i have already one matrox 3heads2go digital with one gtx280 and 3 monitors 22 inch so i would like to buy another 3heads2go digital and 3 extra 22 inch

so can i with 2 thriplehead2go digital and one single gtx280 to cinnect 6 monitors 22inch?

  • - pl. see answer below how to setup.

    - your GTX280 is able to drive 2 x 30" displays, meaning 2560x1600 PER output, but can also handle 3x1680x1050 on ONE output (= one TripleHead2Go D.E.). If the hardware & bandwidth of your GTX280 is broad enough to handle TWO times 5040x1050 I cannot say, you should ask your card manufacturer

  • that child is a good pilot!!!

  • Im better

  • a good pilot?? All he did was bank the airplane, a blind dog could have done that.

  • i was appreciating the smooth bank...i didn't expect that from a child!!!

  • yea, that's a good point.....

  • could you use tri-sli? there are 2 video connectors on each card, that could be how

  • How can this be?!!

I just bought 2 X TripleHead2Go from Matrox in order to connect to my 6 monitors.

It want work! Matrox and ATI Drivers screw up and make fatal conflicts.

Matrox support tells me that it is not possible to use 2 of their TripleHead2Go on a single PC - so what is the magic behind this video?!

  • Correct, this is officially not supported, because the GXM software suite is not programmed to handle 2 devices.

Solution: the second GXM should be powered by an ACTIVE USB-hub with NO connection to the PC ;)

Other nice possibility: use the second Dual-Link-DVI-output from your graphics board to drive the second TH2Go D.E. in DualHead-mode for just 2 additionally screens

  • Sorry if you already answered this in your post but how exactly do you get 6 monitors? What is the exact setup in laymans terms?

  • That's it. I need another three monitors and another triplhead2go!

  • it would be nice if all the screens were connected with a curve to it.

  • that would be sick.

  • Definitely, you can buy stands that do it.

  • Nice...
