  • This crowd is INSANE!!!!

  • Man, you don't get tension like that anymore. I honestly cannot see another rivalry like this happening any time soon.

  • 11 Cena Accounts?? o_O

  • When Austin's music hit, the crowd BLEW UP! Now, if his music hits, people are like: "Who's that bald man..."

  • @AeonXero oh no they know who Austin is

  • Smackdown at its best. AT ITS BEST.

  • i hate these days in wwe i wish it was like the good old days in wwf

  • you dont get these types of reactions anymore! #ripwwf

  • Didn't you just love the days when we could watch one of these videos from the good old days without someone commenting about Cena and instead we would just appreciate the magic that these two legends had when they were in the ring together.

  • It's John Cena, Cm Punk, & Kevin Nash all over again...

  • omg all the cheers, damn i miss the old days

  • fuking love stone cold <3

  • 2 biggest icons. pass n still the future! never get that kinda reaction now-a-days wwe now is a joke n borrrrrrrrrrrrrrring

  • The Rock is the fucking king!

  • holy crap watching this video with austins theme playing while listening with headphones sounds amazing :D

  • wtf how the hell i came here..i was searching for rock and i came to this fake fucking show

  • Man I miss the days of waiting for the music to hit...The Rock and Stone Cold. As a guy even I was excited. You will never have that again.

  • Damn, this was before the stupid "what" chants. If anybody notices, you don't really hear the audience chanting it between the pauses stone cold makes.

  • i used to get chills when that glass breaks...and i still do

  • i m lookin @ dead man !!

  • I honestly cant say whos pop is louder they are both so damn loud haha...

  • Cena fans, Rock fans say, Know your role, and SHUT, YOUR MOUTH.

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin's Entrance= Biggest explosion in the WWF arena ever !

  • Simply Epic!

  • Comment removed

  • fuck the crowd went insane wen austin came out but austin doesnt even seem shocked LOL

  • THE ROCK IS THE ONLY ONE "AND THE ROCK MEANS THE ONLY ONE" WHO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CALL OUT STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN. AND STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN IS THE ONLY ONE "EH EH" THE ONLY ONE WHO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CALL OUT THE ROCK.

  • there aint nobody and i mean NOBODY ! that can match .. HELL even reach near the amount of cheer these two got from the crowd..the greatest rivals in the history of the business .. AUSTIN AND THE ROCK FOREVER !

  • Austin, maybe I got into it too late, but I never got behind Austin like I did with the Rock. Maybe if didn't always come out with a hat. I always see clips from 1996-1998 and he came out in jeans with a vest and no hat. THat looks badass. Not this.

  • OH MY GOD did you hear that pop that Stone Cold got when his music hit, damn those were the days sends chills down my spine

  • aint a sumbitch here that tells me what to do!!

  • lok at all the adults in the crowd, all you see now a days is kids wearing john cena shirts!!!!

  • Umm...towards the end of Stone Cold's WWF career, Stone Cold was a joke and he sucked majorly. The Rock's persona was not centered on selling t-shirts and vulgar attitude like Stone Cold. And, you must understand The Rock is (was) the youngest champion of all-time and many feel that he hasnt paid his dues. Either The Rock surpasses Stone Cold anyday!

  • hey douche bag maybe its because cena has no one to compete with him in terms of merchandise sales. The Rock wrestled at the same time as Austin and they are both top 4 in the same era. Hogan was on his own and Cena is currently on his own. Not only that Cena has been wrestling for 9 years from 02-11 and still going. The Rock wrestled for 7 years from 96-03 so if he just got past by Cena it also took him 2 more years in the business. Dumbass

  • @surprisinigly1 More popular, maybe. But a better wrestler, nah. All Stone Cold did was stomp on people & throw a few stunners here and there

  • Oh yeah Rock is "so great" on the mic that he isnt top 3 on any of WWEs Official Greatest Of all Time list. Even the OFFICIAL WWE DVD has Rock at #5 behind Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold and Bret Hart. Rocky sucks

  • who gives a fuck who was better, both of them made wwe so much better than what it is now. Cena talks like a little kid by saying fiddle sticks, and fudgy nut cracker. You can tell hes reaching out to the kiddy audience.

  • u retarded bastards.. the story line @ the time, people were thinkin the rock may have had sumthin 2 do with stone cold gettin ran over PLUS austin was gone for a while after he got hit.. OF COURSE hes gonna have a huge pop from the crowd and of course they would kinda be booing and cheering the rock.... but if u listen in this video the crowd kinda boos stone cold wen he comes out and tells the rock he dont answer to nobody..

  • TY Tpayas... Wrestling still lives because of people like you. Thank you

  • I love how they're supposed to be rivals but The Rock's got his phone number and email addy:)

  • I have yet to meet another wrestler like the rock Mic skills, wrestling skills, and the appearance and certainly the charisma. Rock had every piece. Most, even the greats are missing one aspect or another. So that's why rock is greatest of all time. He's is like MJ, Austin is like Magic Johnson. Both two greats and will never be another.

  • THE ROCK IS THE GREATEST WRESTLER OF ALL TIME.. U MOTHERFUCKERS KNOW THAT AS WELL AS I DO, STONE COLD WAS GREAT IN THE RING AND ON THE MIC BUT BE REAL, NO ONE CAN TOUCH THE PEOPLES CHAMP ON THE MIC OR IN THE RING AND I REMEMBER THE ROCK GETTING THE BIGGEST POPS I EVER HEARD BACK IN THE ATTITUDE ERA..!!!! GET IT RITE: THE ROCK-1 STONE COLD-2 AND WE COULD ARGUE ALL DAY ABOUT WHO COMES AFTER THAT BUT I THINK HHH-3 UNDERTAKER-4

  • @playaplaya1984 lol your in denial

  • nobody seems to bring up rikishi's entrance austin said damn right

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin is the greatest of all time. Rock was great and all but I saw Raw several weeks ago and John Cena has surpassed the Rock in all time mechandise sales and Facebook followers. Rock is great but he cant outsell John Cena so how is he better? the all time merchandise sales list is 1. Austin 2. Hogan 3. Cena and 4 Rock

  • @Budwiser221 Lol you think because Cena outsells Rock that makes him beter:/. Cena grows up with a generation of internet users. Justin Biebers 'Baby' video has more views than Michael Jacksons 'Thriller'; using your logic Justin Bieber is the best entertainer to ever live no? Watch the interaction the Rock has with every crowd and compare it to Cena. Cena is so big in the WWE because he can sell so well not because he is so talented. He will probs suprass them all soon.

  • @Budwiser221 Thats some pretty terrible logic, buddy... lol

  • @Budwiser221 did u really.. just put cena over the rock?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    are u fuckin stupid????

lmao at merchandise facebook folowers.. lmaooo the rock is more popular than cean. rock is better werestler the cena... the rock is the better actor... and a succesfull one at that

and the rock was a greater wwf superstar than stone cold.. just stating facts

stone cold was big but the rock made it so much bigger

  • @Budwiser221 Dude look who he sells merchandise to! Little Kids! John Cena nor Hulk Hogan have never gotten a big ovaton like The Rock did during 1999-2002. Sorry buddy ol pal pal pal!

  • @Budwiser221 until wrestlemania 28

  • @Budwiser221

Stop talking crap. Because Cena outsold The Rock with his shitty t-shirts he's a better wrestler overall? Don't make me laugh. The Rock will always be the best, along with Stone Cold Steve Austin. They are the TRUE DEFINITION of the word "legend" in the WWE/F. Period.

  • @Budwiser221 sales isnt everything.....cena been wwe main guy longer than the rock was back then....

  • @Budwiser221 but cena couldn't sell a milllion wrestlemania ppv without the rock..

  • @Budwiser221 warning , cena fanboy alert !!!!!

merchindise sales mean NOTHING when it comes to inring skills and mic skills and very few can match rocks and SCSA skills on the mic , and cena is NOT one of them

  • @Budwiser221 So what, he surpassed him in all time merchandise sales? That doesn't make Cena better, that just means that he has a huge kid fan base willing to buy a bunch of Cena t-shirts. The Rock had to compete with Austin, but who does Cena have to compete with? Nobody. The Rock is still miles ahead of Cena as far as atheletic ability and mic skills. So, by default, The Rock is better.

  • @Budwiser221 Your high. It doesnt matter about sales. What matters is how he gets booed every week even though he is a face. Also its easy to sell when there is no one to compete with. Plus Cena has been in the WWE longer than The Rock anyway. Get your facts straight.

  • @Budwiser221 cena has no competition. he's the only guy the WWE promotes to the fullest. Back then you had the rock, stone cold, HHH, kurt angle, undertaker, shawn michaels NWO/hogan etc. Theres no way in hell cena is better than the rock. you're out of your mind. Theres a reason why cena gets booed as a face and the rock always got cheered even as a heel

  • @SubZeroJoe he's got a point Cena has it easy in his career theres is no competition in todays wwe i mean most of the talents left like Brock lesnar would could be a bigger draw then cena

  • @SubZeroJoe cena will win

  • @princeofdarknessxyz1 u do know wrestling is scripted right?

  • @SubZeroJoe yes i do know but it will be an interesting match

  • @Budwiser221 SHHH!! Wrestlers with Talent are wrestling right now.. We can talk about Dora the explorer competition (John Cena) later.. Cena is in a tight race with Elmo in the children section ... Please come back when you have a real point.. Only people that buy cena stuff are 7 year olds some girls and 32 year old men that live with their mother.. So now lets get back to watching wrestlers with REAL talent.. Later

  • @Budwiser221 r u kiddin me?during attitude era der wasn't any facebook

rock changed his shirts every week he had elbow pads shirts aftr ahirts u must b some kind of crack

  • @Budwiser221 I know what your saying, but we cant be comparing John Cena to the legendary Rock.. For starters lets not forget the amount of Rocky fans there is out there who no longer watch WWE and secondly all these social networking sites were nowhere to be seen back in those days.. Hogan & Austin is a different materr lol..

  • @Budwiser221 Since when did merchandise sales mean anything? Another way you could look at that is that The Rock has been away for 7 years, yet Cenas only just overtaken him when he has a new fruity pebble coloured t-shirt out every week. The Rock and Austin are the greatest to ever grace this Industry.

  • @Budwiser221 LOL as much as i wanna laugh at ur stupidity . i wanna bring up some facts in hope that you myt get some light on the subject.

    1) cena has more followers on fb/twitter? the rock has more twitter followers than cena, the rock gained 3.8 millions facebook fans in 8 months, cena has been on twitter ever since wwe discovered facebook and lets js say austin's facebook fans can not even be considered here for it doesnt reach the million mark(which is sad caz i totally love austin)

  • @Budwiser221 2) john cena more merchandise, agreed. caz thats the only thing he can sell.

    3) awesomeness is not described by fans. which is why all the greatest musicians do not have a large fan following but people like justin beiber and lady gaga get trillions of fans. there are very few people who can understand quality and sadly that applies to the wwe universe too. no disrespect to cena the person but cena the gimmick absolutely sucks monkey ass.

  • @Budwiser221 4) i hope my above points prove that the rock is by far better than cena and if disagree, well, what can i say.. u js dont have a gift of selecting quality and thats a sad thing for you.

  • @Budwiser221 Sales? big deal, listen to the pops.

  • @Budwiser221 you're a dumbass

  • @Budwiser221 facebook was made in 2006 when cena became champion and the rock didnt hange his shirts as much as

  • Ive already seen this and it still exciting

  • @kingdotian1 Rock was more popular? Does your speakers work? because I heard boos for the Rock when he called out Austin and I heard the crowd lose their mind when that glass broke. Rock had one good year in WWE and that just happened to coincide with the timeframe Austin left the company due to surgery btu he took the crowd right back when he returned

  • @Budwiser221 Duede I never commented this saying Rock is more popular, I just said that this video brings me back :s. But il reply lol, I think the pop was partly due to the magnitude of the confrontation we were about to see. Plus you cant determine the popularity of a superstar on one crowd pop. Plus The Rock had more than one good year in the WWE common. I dunno who is more popular when I think of attitude I think Austin, Rock and DX. I like the Rock the most; his charisma is extradionary.

  • @ThuqqNaStY2k11 there is no way that's true, if so, why was Rock never able to sell more merchandise than Austin (Austin #1 all-time WWE merchandise, The Rock #4) and Austin still got bigger pops even today than Rock ever got, just watch the Backlash, people were CHANTING for Austin during Rock's match with Triple H

  • @ThuqqNaStY2k11 lol are you serious? In WWE there was no one more popular than Stone Cold. Jsut listen to the pop Austin got when eh came out and compare that to Rock's pop when he first came out. "Ask a random person who the Rock is"? Lol I just asked several relatives and they have no idea who Dwayne Johnson is. Austin sold more merchandise than Rock, is called the greatest of all time but just about everyone involved in WWE. Cena just outsold the Rock in all time merchandise sales lol

  • @ThuqqNaStY2k11 lol who cares about comparing them in hollywood, both of their careers are in wrestling and ask any non bias wrestling fan who is bigger and who had the biggest impact and they will say Stone Cold unless they are just a gigantic Rock homer. Quite simple in merchandise Stone Cold owns the Rock, in WWE fan polls Stone Cold owns the Rock and in 2002 Austin was voted superstar of the decade over guess who? The Rock and it wasnt a close vote

  • @McLitttle24 who cares jus enjoy the impact both of these 2 legends have made :)

  • @Eduardo10390

There is no proof that shows Rock was #4 in merchandise sales. For all we know he could've been #10, it was never revealed where he was listed. Again you're bringing up the year 2000, when everyone thinks he "peaked" in popularity, but he actually peaked the year before in '99. By the second half of 2000 he started getting backlash from half of the fans, where in '99 he got very little.

  • @LChris6 I never said Austin peaked in 2000. And what show are you watching? Austin didn't return until the second half of 2000, he didn't get any backlash. He got his final push at the end of 2000 and was still the top guy. Even when he turned heel at Wrestlemania X-7, he did everything he could do to get heat and he still got cheered. Fans never really turned on Austin the way they turn on The Rock, they love to hate The Rock, Austin was always loved AND respected. Therefore Austin #1

  • @Eduardo10390

I wasn't even talking about Austin, how could I be talking about Austin when he wasn't even there until the last week of September in 2000?

  • @LChris6 Well, then it weakens your argument even more because Austin was the biggest star in 1999, the only time The Rock got really big was when Austin wasn't around to be the top guy, like when Austin got "run over" at the PPV in 1999

  • @Eduardo10390

What do you mean he got "really big"? He was already "really big" in 1999, there was a poll asking who was more popular of the 2 at the time and Austin lost. It wasn't even close, it was lopsided and Austin lost by more than a thousand votes.

  • @LChris6 are you a retard? he got really big by being given main event status, he may have had random feuds but he was the champion. it's funny that you qualify losing by a thousand votes as being lopsided. for that to be true, the poll is irrelevant because it would have had to have been a poll of about 1001 to 1

  • @Eduardo10390

He was a main eventer before Survivor Series 1999, Smackdown was already around by then, are you a retard? And I'm sure if Austin had won the poll instead, you would just say "rest my point, Austin was more over at the time", right? The Rock had 3,613 votes, Austin had 2,187 votes, and this was from the rajahwwf.com site in 1999.

  • @LChris6 hahaha, you are the fucking idiot, you proved my point. you think a poll between 5,800 is representative of the WWF fanbase worldwide, a fanbase with numbers in the millions?

  • @LChris6 by the way, a CREDIBLE and REPUTABLE source, Pro Wrestling Illustrated, named Austin

PWI Wrestler of the Year (1998, 1999, 2001)

PWI ranked #1 of the Top 500 singles wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 1998 and 1999

PWI Feud of the Year in 1998 and 1999

  • @Eduardo10390

And PWI also named Rock most popular wrestler of 1999, not Austin, so there. And the awards for most popular wrestler that year was already decided before December of '99 too, don't even think about using that excuse.

  • @LChris6 The Rock only one in that one category in '99, while Austin won in 3, if The Rock was really as great as you say he was, and the survey between the 5,800 people online was really a representation of the people's opinion on the People's Champion, then i would say the favoritism towards The Rock would be displayed in the results for PWI, the world's biggest, most relevant, most read, and most trusted source in the Wrestling Community, but it wasn't. So who really is the delusional fuck?

  • @Eduardo10390

So don't come on here and try to make me look dumb, I've been on the waybackmachine site and I've seen plenty of proof from the old websites from the year 1999 that The Rock was indeed more over than Austin, remember dumbass, Rock was a heel throughout 1998 while Austin was the face, only Austin marks will say Austin was more popular than The Rock in 1999 just because Austin was a face longer than The Rock was. Very stupid logic.

  • @LChris6 At the very least, The Rock would have taken Most Popular Wrestler and Wrestler of the Year, but he didn't. Austin won in 3 categories, The Rock won in 1. Also, in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Austin was named Best Box Office Draw in 1998 and 1999, and was voted Best on Interviews three times while The Rock was only voted for twice

  • @Eduardo10390

Austin and The Rock were tied for Wrestling Observer best box office draw in 1999 dumbass, there were 3 choices and the person that decided that award stated that both were far ahead of everyone else that year and that Austin wasn't really a bigger draw than Rock was when both were faces. It was only given to Austin because he was a face longer than The Rock when the awards started at 12/1/98 and it ended at 11/30/99.

  • And the Rock won in 2 categories in 1999 PWI, not just. Austin was pushed better than The Rock was in 1999 , yet Rock was voted as most popular over Austin. What the fuck does that tell you?

  • @LChris6 because if the poll was taken in the millions, losing by 1000 votes is minor, and Austin was a close second, and if the poll was only conducted between a few thousand, then the poll is pointless because it doesn't represent the worldwide fanbase of the WWF at the time

  • @Eduardo10390

    @Eduardo10390

Actually rajahwwf.com was a very popular website at the time, people choosing The Rock over Austin in the poll wasn't an "internet thing" because if you actually watched the fucking shows at the time, he got bigger pops than Austin plenty of times.

  • @LChris6 yes, it was so popular, their poll generated a total of 5,800 votes

  • @Eduardo10390

Oh, and The Rock by November 2000 was a watered down version of himself compared to '99. The Rock in 1999 was 10X better than he was in this video.

  • @Eduardo10390

And I clearly recall HHH getting the push of the century right after Survivor Series 1999 being all over the TV with McMahon despite that feud drawing little heat while Rock was given the New Age Outlaws and Al Snow. Same thing in the summer of 2000, Angle/HHH/Stephanie was the biggest storyline at the time while Rock, the champion, stood in the background and was put in random feuds.

  • Lol at everyone thinking The Rock here was anywhere near as good as he was in 1999. So Austin got cheered over him here, big fucking deal, The Rock in this vid was lame compared to the summer-fall 1999 days.

  • @QuackyQuack1 Austin always maintained support from the fans and never got "lame" that's all the proof you need to know that Austin is, and forever will be #1, any thing Austin refused to do (that ended up being right on) like laying down for Brock Lesnar, feuding with Eddie Guerrero, etc. they immediately ran and got The Rock to do it. He is sloppy seconds.

  • @Eduardo10390

Well good for him. Too bad Rock decided to turn "lame" or he would've continued to outshine Austin like he was doing in 1999. Just like after No Mercy 1999 when the fans were on Rock's side when Austin challenged him.

  • @Eduardo10390

And do you know what I mean by "lame"? I meant his change in character, Austin was exactly the same as he was in 1999, The Rock wasn't. The Rock wasn't walking to the ring all fast like and doing a 1 fist pose in '99, he was 10X better than what you see in this vid.

  • @QuackyQuack1 thank you for proving my point, another reason Austin was better than Rock. The Rock changed faces a million times, Austin never did. You guys who are on the Rock's side are trying to make a case for him, and at the same time are burying him. thanks. this has been great. you're a terrific audience. thanks. thank you.

  • @Eduardo10390

Your opinion on Austin being better. Maybe when Austin came back in 2000 his character was better, but in 1999 Rock was arguably better.

  • @Eduardo10390

And 5, 800 votes is a lot of people you stupid fuck. It's funny that because Rock won the poll you don't think it matters and you still think Austin was more popular of the 2 just because Austin was a face longer than The Rock was at the time. Listen here you delusional fuck, Rock was more popular than Austin was when the question was asked and if you don't like that, too fucking bad.

  • @LChris6 you honestly think 5,800 votes during WWF's popularity peak is a lot of people? there were millions of fans, and to base someone's popularity based on one obscure poll that you can't pull back today for reference

  • @Eduardo10390

And what you're saying is because just 5,800 people voted, Austin was still more popular than The Rock that year? Yeah, that's why The Rock won every single most popular wrestler award in 1999 and Austin was in 2nd place not just in PWI, but every single person that reviewed the year 1999, dumbass.

  • @LChris6 dude austin still holds the record for the highest rated title run in raw history what are you talking about the rock was a better entertainer than austin in my opinion but austin was slightly bigger than rock, records back that up obviously your a die hard rock fan but they both were great, in 98, and early 99 austin set the most records in history rock started to get really big in late 99 and through 2002 his popularity was unmatched but in late 97, 98 and early 99 austin run was epic

  • @RayMagic12192

I'm an Austin fan too, I'm just stating that facts. Austin was the top draw in 1998, but Rock was a heel throughout the year. When both were faces in the summer of '99 they were equally popular, then Rock started to become the face of the company when Smackdown became a weekly show. The only reason people will say that Austin was bigger was because Rock was a heel at the beginning, which I think is unfair since the era peaked when Rock was a face.

  • @LChris6 i agree with mostly what you said like i said rock owned aust in when it came to mic skills and entertainment, it makes no sense to take way what austin done just because rock was a heel austin set records that still haven't broken today during his run thats like me taking away from rock because austin turned heel at wrestlemania 17 and it allowed rock to have most of the spotlight and when he turned heel people was cheering for him nobody really wanted to boo austin when he was a heel

  • @RayMagic12192

They turned on The Rock in his later face days because he wasn't wasn't the same character that he was in 1999, by 2001-02 his '99 style was practically gone. This is why I don't appreciate being called a "die hard Rock fan", I liked his 1998-1999 character a lot better than his 2001-2002 character.

Also the WWF's best financial years were when The Rock was on top. Austin had a huge year in 1998, but the era peaked financially with Rock as the top guy.

  • @LChris6 actually the era peaked when austin was on top early 99 the ratings decreased when austin left in late 99 early 2000 wwf had set viewers ratings in early 99 when austin was on top so i don't know what your talking about, and i agree the rock was kind of boring during 2001 thru 2002, just like austin was during 2002 thru 2003, but austin had set pay per view records during his run that rock could not break during his run, but late 98 thru late 99 rock was more entertaining than 99 austin

  • @RayMagic12192

Are you serious? The ratings didn't decrease in late 1999, it seems that you're the one that doesn't know what you're talking about. The ratings began decreasing when Raw moved to TNN in September 2000, the night after Austin returned, look up the ratings history.

  • @LChris6 yeah they was already declining before austin returned in late 2000 the rating was at it's highest when austin was on top cause they had the highest rated match in history when austin was top rock had the highest rated segment in history like i said if rock had higher rated run than austin then he would have broke all of austin records he set during his run but he didn't so i don't know what your talking about

  • @RayMagic12192

The WWF's best financial year was when Austin wasn't there for most of it. Look bro, I ain't taking sides here, I've read up on the business history and I know what I'm talking about, I have no reason to make up stories. Austin was the top star '98 and he was still a huge star in '99, but I think that Rock surpassed him by Survivor Series that year.

  • @LChris6 if he surpassed austin he wouldve broke all his records so you make no sense and when the ratings declined the rock was on top all through 2000 so again if the rock was bigger he would have broke austins records but he didn't so i does not make andy sense how can you surpass a person if you can't break his records it makes no sense the rock is the most entertaining surperstar ever in mmy opinion but i can't put him over austin when he couldn't break his records during his run

  • @RayMagic12192

Oh you don't think Rock ever broke Austin's record huh? Go to google, type "top wrestling draws year by year", click on the first link, and there's a list of the top wrestling draws from 1908-2008 from wrestling observer. Look at that list and then come back on here and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about.

  • @LChris6 thats a newsletter dude like i said austill holds the most records in history if the rock broke all of them than it would be a different story but he didn't so it's obvious ur a die hard rock fan but it's cool i said the rock had the highest rated segment in history but he didn't break as much records that austin did so he can't surpass him facts or facts austin broke the most records in history so continue an argue i don't care, cause when you wake up austin still has the most records

  • @RayMagic12192

Yeah, that's why Rock was #1 and Austin was #2 in 1999 right? You're just as delusional as that other guy that tried to test me.

  • @LChris6 because the rock was big in late 99, austin was bigger in early 99 like i said earlier look at my comments plus austin left in late 99, also to end this argumen att raw 10 year anniversery austin was voted BY THE FANS superstar of the decade over the rock and others it was voted by millions of fans the rock was voted best on the mic superstar at the ten year anniversery but austin was voted superstar of decade over the rock so that ends this argument facts are the facts now look that up

  • @RayMagic12192

The Rock was a heel up until mid '99, did you forget that? Also Austin was in storylines with only main eventers in 1999. Who was Rock in storylines with when he was a face in 1999? Guys like Billy Gunn and Al Snow, plus HHH who was only mildy over as a heel, HHH became a dominant heel when he feuded with Vince McMahon. Austin had it easier to get pops than The Rock did in 1999, don't forget that either.

    I'm just speaking truth here.

  • @RayMagic12192

And I clearly stated that I wasn't a die hard Rock fan, are you deaf or something?

  • @Eduardo10390

Want more proof of how over Rock was in 1999? The Raw before Summerslam fans chanted for The Rock throughout the majority of the show during the commerical breaks while the fans didn't chant Austin's name once until right before he came out for the main event, and this was with Austin being the champion.

Please don't try to call me a liar, I have no reason to lie.

  • @LChris6 Austin dominated 1997, 1998 and the first half of 1999 when he was the top guy. towards the middle of '99, he started putting Triple H over as a heel and putting Mankind over, and then towards the end of the year he went away for the 12 months and that's when The Rock, watered down or not, and Triple H, the top heel were able to have the spotlight. Austin returns and him and Triple H dominate WWF until Triple H is injured in May and Austin and Angle are top guys through 2002

  • @Eduardo10390

Why in the fuck are you bringing up the years of Austin being the top guy before mid 1999, wasn't The Rock a heel in those years? It's very fucking obvious Austin was the top guy. I'm only talking about who was more popular when both were faces in the year 1999, and that was The Rock.

  • @Eduardo10390 ROFL, a lot of people say people didn't boo Austin when he was a heel in 2001....that is complete bullshit. As someone who has watched the attitude era FIVE times and can watch it anytime I want now, I can tell you Austin was booed a lot...That is all

  • @MrPeanutBalls A lot of people did boo, but the crowd never fully turned on him, they still cheered him a lot, as opposed to someone like Triple H in 2000 as a heel who never got pops

  • @ThuqqNaStY2k11 well the ovation austin got does not back up ypur statement

  • @RayMagic12192 i knw im jus sayin tht cus i started watch wreslting a lil bit around the time austin got ran over so i didnt really get to see austin at his best

  • To me this was austin best theme song. when it comes to real life. they are great friends. the 11 ppl who dislikes this are cena fans

  • have u ever noticed how these stupid commentators build up to a big fight each time rock and stone cold r in the ring when nothing actually happens....faggots

  • Only The Rock can call out Stone Cold like that!

  • im sick and tired of hearing who's better and who gets a better pop. i say who gives a monkeys nutsack, the rock and stone cold were the wwf period, bottom line.

  • Man listen to that mega pop Stone Cold got when that glass broke. Rock's pop was shit compared to Austin's and Rock got booed when he called out Stone Cold, you can hear it in the crowd. Rock learned the hard way you cant call out Austin and not expect some crowd backlash. Man I had to turn my speakers down when Stone Cold came out it was so loud. Dont worry Rock, you'll always be 2nd to Stone Cold. Thumbs up if you agree that Stone Cold was better and more popular

  • @ModernOne122 thumbs up if you suck stone cold dicks!! You dumb motherfucker.

  • @ModernOne122

This was in late 2000 when his character was watered down. I personally didn't care for his promos and all of that around this time in retrospect, he was a much better face in 1999 when his voice was deeper.

  • @ModernOne122

so what if a few red necks booed the rock, red necks dont matter anyway

  • @ModernOne122 yeah thumbs up your ass, fool you're delusional and living in fantasy world, The Rock is way more popular worldwide than Austin, Austin is a great wrestler and i like him a lot, but compared to the Rock, no way, no contest, Rock makes box office smash movies, next to Hogan he is the 2nd most popular wrestler in the world, then everyone else, you are a internet smark, you don't speak for the rest of the world and people who have full time jobs and a full life outside of being a fan

  • @kalai131 its OK you are entitled to your opinion its just a shame everyone else knows Stone cold is the greatest of all time

  • @ModernOne122 who? just some teenagers who live in certain parts of the U.S. I'm talking about the entire world here plus non wrestling fans in the U.S. I have been to 4 different continents and traveled 3 diff continents, when i hear of college students, and even sororities and other people who don't even follow WWE every week with Rock posters and mentions The Rock, I know who's more popular, i'm not the internet all the time, i post occasionally on weekends and that's about it, i see more.

  • @kalai131 on nearly every official WWE list stone cold is ahead of the rock. You have your worthless opinion but people know Austin is better than Rock now stop crying

  • great two new trolls that didnt get the memo that no one gives a shit about what they think about the rock.

  • to mordden u quiet lah bitch

  • Mddcrl7 has a problem, I big one. Who the hell is this guy anyway? He's jealous of The Great One

  • LMAO, there are a bunch of fucking trolls on here xD Fucking PG fans LOL!

  • @mddcrl7 stop writing cheques that your arse cant cash

  • this is wat the wwf was all about

  • 11 people like stone cold

  • @lxtheasimxl i think you mean 11 people like the Rock because the pop Stone Cold got was much bigger than the Rock's and Austin ended this segment with a stunner to the Rock

  • This was one of the greatest storylines in history

  • stone cold more popular 96-98, 01, 03

the rock more popular 99-00, 02

  • some people are booing stone cold at 2:04 lol

  • soon as that glass breaks shit changes lol

  • @lxtheasimxl did you hear that pop Austin got when that glass shattered, much louder than the Rock's

  • @ModernOne122 duh . . .Austin was the car victim and Rock was the heel of sort because of his association with it

  • @ModernOne122 Know your damn role and shut your damn mouth. No one is listening to what you're saying here.

  • @ModernOne122 that pop was in anticipation of the confrontation between the two after the buildup of the rock calling austin out
