@CalgaryAlpineStyle Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to write out your thoughts and goods words.
In this case, it was easy to film the plane because a) my son did it, I just sat back and watched! b) the prop plane was just taking its time buzzing around. c) but I know what you mean, I've missed birds, planes, all sorts of stuff because I couldn't grab or operate the camera quick enough. On my LINC ON MARS video I literally sprinted for the camera each time I heard the plane.
@Kellycontant Again, thank you very much. You made it through the entire loop. There is a part 4 and 5 by the way ; ) but they are supplementary in nature. Happy Easter!
I'm very happy to see that you made it to part 3. Thanks for the terrific comment and rating! I actually have 1 or 2 more parts in the works--same trip--that I aim to upload within the next few weeks.
Great video, spectacular views. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video I have hiked to the summit twice. The last time was about 15 years ago.
I need to do it again soon!

@rudedogii Thank you very much! It is indeed a wonderful hike. So are the other two nearby sisters--San Gorgonio and San Jacinto.
Wow, 15 years ago--trust me, I understand how time flies as I first summited San Jacinto about 30 years ago!
When you go back to the mountains to backpack, an incredible degree of joy gets back into your system--that perhaps had been forgotten.
Thanks again for the comment and I say "Go for it!"

its trick photography the plain is further away making it look like its flying close to the ground

@Rmaster193193 Thank you for your comment. The trick photography wasn't intentional, but you're right : )
Anyway, it's still pretty dangerous for a small prop aircraft to be buzzing mountains that are over 10,000 feet above sea level.

I find it to be very tricky, filming an airplane or a hawk or something like that flying high.
Let alone a fighter jet. One time I've heard one of those very loud airplanes and by the time
I grabbed my camera it was gone behind the next mountain ridge.
BTW, you have a nice style of incorporating and making transitions with clips.
Lovely Cali scenery - we have a Mt Baldy and Mt Old Baldy here in Alberta, as well,
they are popular all year round hikes/scrambles, close proximity to Calgary.
