Amazing Find: Bubble and Bee Organic Beauty Products

With my last purchase Stephanie (the owner) send me a free sample of the new deodorant cream, I am glad to say that it actually works! (The last time bought a deodorant it worked ok but I didn't really love it). The only product from this company that didn't worked for me was the shampoo (I know use Terressentials Hair Mud). I was using some Terressential products and I really love them but I think I'm sticking to Bubble and Bee because their products work wonders, and last much longer.

I recently bought Bubble and Bee Pineapple Enzyme Facial Cleanser and it is AMAZING!! It leaves my skin so soft and at the same time so clean, plus I love the smell!. I also bought the Lime Shower Gel, I LOVE LOVE the smell, I use it with the Foamer Bottles so it lasts a loooong time, and it doesn't dry my skin. I also wanted to say that I've been using the Face Cream on a really big scar that I hava, and since then the scar has almost faded completly!!

Thanks for this review. I was looking for 100% organic products but couldn't find one. And when I saw your review I have visited her website and liked it. I have ordered a face cream and cleanser from them. Now, I am very excited to try those. I was hoping to find few more products like face scrub or organic serum kinda things, but I think they don't have any yet.

Finally, using the vinegar rinse really isn't an extra step--it just takes the place of your conditioner. And one that doesn't involve toxic chemical preservatives like parabens and phenoxyethanol, allergy-inducing quaternium ammonium compounds, synthetic fragrances and so on. In the end, if you still with it, you'll have totally shiny, healthy, toxin-free hair. That all said, we are currently developing another conditioning rinse that you won't have to pour and measure yourself.

@TanteBrownieLV Key limes are just a different type of lime. They are smaller and more tart than regular limes. They're used in key lime pie. :)

I bought a lot of products from them. I hate the body butter, shampoo, face cream and the deodorant. I got rashes on my face from using the face cream and the deodorant does not work. I still stink. The shampoo is a pain to use. Having to use vinegar rinse each time I shampoo. My fine hair hated it. The body butter is solid like butter from the fridge. They may be organic but it did not work for me. Wasted my money...no refunds either...

@sj1605 That's a bummer. I haven't tried the shampoo, but I agree....having to use vinegar to rinse sounds like a pain. I just received the body butter and face cream, and while I agree they have a different texture than most, I really like them. When using all organic ingredients, sometimes you have to sacrifice the traditional "feel" of creams that we're used to, which are created with loads of chemicals.

I don't know why you would have gotten a rash with using the face cream; perhaps you have a shea butter allergy? Have you had rashes like this before? What kind of cleansers are you using? @sj1605 Regarding the body butter, typically it has a nice whipped, soft consistency. But, because it is shea-butter based, it can harden in cold or over time. This is all natural. I'll give you a little trick to help---pat water on your skin first, then with your dry hand, scoop out a small amount of the body butter and apply it. This will give you the feel of a typical lotion, seal in the moisture, and last you a really long time.

@sj1605 I have tried some of their products too, I love the body butter and the face ceam. I didn't like the shampoo. The deodorant is OK but I wouldn't buy it again. You should try Terressentials, it is a USDA certified organic company, their products are amazing. Right know I use mainly Terressentials and some Bubble & Bee products.

@PazKunoichi yea i expected the body butter to be the same smooth texture as the ones in bath and body works. it was time consuming for me to use it do i dont use it anymore. my husband uses the face cream since i got a rash from it. I did not like the deodorant...even though she asked me to use the replacement guarantee by the time I waste all that money on shipping back adn forth i might as well buy something else from the store nearby.

@sj1605 We don't believe in watering down our products and making these thin lotions. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own preferences, but we believe in not bottling a product that's 80% or more water, loading it up with preservatives and alcohol, and charging people for it. It's just not right.

@PazKunoichi hated the shampoo as well. she says its not an extra step to do the vinegar rinse but it is. anyone who has used conditioner knows that its so much easier to use conditioner. well, i will not be buying anything from them anymore. she did not like that i expressed my feelings in youtube about how i did not like her products. so i dont even feel like buying anything from her. I feel like i have the right to say what i think about a product.

@sj1605 If you want a body lotion with the texture of those in bath and body works then you should try Terressentials. I love that brand, it is a little bit expensive but I thinks is totally worth it. My husband uses Terressential's deodorant and he says it is better than regular deodorants, he works repairing cars so he sweats a lot and he says that with Terressentials deodorant he is not wet or smelly; plus it lasts a long time! about 6 months! and my husband uses a lot of deodorant haha.

@sj1605 Like you, I did't like to use a vinegar rinse, mainly because of the smell! I try Terressentials Hair Mud, it is like mud so for some people might be difficult to get used to it, to be honest I've heard mixed reviews about it, some people say it works wonders and some people say that it doesn't work at all. For me it has worked wonders! It is the only shampoo that works with my hair! and I don't even have to use a conditioner, my hair is so soft.

You have noted to me privately that you have pretty active eczema and cheilitis, and our products are not drugs, and not intended to treat any medical conditions such as these. Great review! I've heard good things about b&b. My journey to find an all natural, organic skin care line ended with face naturals. I cannot tell you how amazing their targeted skin care products are. face naturals has really set the bar in the natural skin care world.

If you like b&b, you should consider trying face naturals at-least once with one of their try me size products.

I was on a constant hunt for natural products and was never fully satisfied with the results until I went with unrefined shea. What about body care? Do you have scrubs, body lotions & body wash that you found is great to use. Right now I use Bath & Body Works & it works great with my skin, but I really like more natural products.. So far very hard for me to find natural products that work really well.. Thanks a bunch...

@Starsshine38 Yes, they carry those products as well. Check the Bubble and Bee website. Bath and Body Works products are full of parabens, fragrances, etc. I would NOT use them if you're looking for natural products.

I've also been using B&B for a few months and it's a gem of a find! The orange shower gel smells like home squeezed orange juice, it's my favorite. All the soaps are great especially the licorice and the raspberry. The raspberry smells exactly like Smuckers jam for your toast. The lotion stick is great for your purse. The service is also excellent. Stephanie answers all ur questions and is very nice about it.

I highly recommend the raspberry vanilla body butta. Every time I use it I want to eat it because it smells sooo good! I also love the spearmint tea tree pit putty- it works really well, my hubby even uses it! I have been using Bubble and Bee products for a couple years and I can't stop raving about them. I have been using B&B since March. My hair grows so fast since using the shampoo & vinegar rinse. I LOVE the soap bars. I used to hate soap bars but now I'm in love! I love using the shower gel, too, but there are more options with the bars so I use the gel for my hands! I have 6 dif lip balms; way better than any I've ever tried. My lips retain moisture now. My hands are healed from using B&B soap and stick lotion. My baby's eczema is gone since using the unscented body butter & bar soap! LOVE!

Such great info. For sure I'm buying some of her products. I don't understand how there is no water in the bath gel though. I make soap and in order to saponify oils you need water. IMO water in 'some' products is ok and needed. I've got to read more and thank you for such wonderful info!
