@StevenMJiggalo i would use what works best for you, but to reference my comment above keep it simple, light, and focus on fundamentals. like i said above a solid understanding of how your weapon shoots off the front sight at hallway distances is better than the best tacticool stuff. the setup you are referencing i have not used and i doubt i would want to fuck around with that if people were trying to kill me, especially with sand everywhere, trembling hands. see my above post.
@StevenMJiggalo The only thing I liked on my M-4 was a tac light for urban ops with the beam focused to the area my shots would go, a gangster grip for comfort, and for iraq iron sights, for Afghanistan an Acog if you can get one. keep your weapon as light as possible and as simple as possible. most situations you can just use your front sight post and line it up on the enemy, you dont even have to look through your sights for very close urban ops, just front sight-press.
@Zebco96 there's such a thing as an ideal stance that you instill into young soldiers as a base to work off, yes for some the knees sagged, shoulders in line with the butt bone with a curve in your back squared up to the target is the way to go, but you have to find your own comfort zone as far as shooting style and stance goes. Mhmm nuff said
Uh, who taught that last guy how to shoot? The weapon was controlling HIM. Lean forward, bend the knees dude....and the stock is designed for your SHOULDER, not your collarbone.
@Zebco96 the united states army that who, it does not matter how he shoots, or if you agree with his stance. the only thing that should matter is he has the balls to do what most people will never do, he is not playing some fucking video game, he is not some 15 year old little cunt obsessed with video games of airsoft. he is not at some inner city shooting range. HE IS A COMBAT SOLDER. keep your fucking opinion to yourself
@ViolentEncounter Look man, I was just pointing out something, because I know for a FACT, that the army does not train you to shoot like that....they dont hand you a rilfe and say shoot stuff. How would I know? We airsoft fags are FULL of active duty guys, and these guys use/teach real training. I was in no way dissing the US Army, I was just pointing out something. So keep your rage to yourself.
@Zebco96 im glad u admitted airsoft fags. in case your powers of observation are shit i will point it out for you, see the height differnce between the electric sight and the open sight????? well do u
@ViolentEncounter Actually, sir weapons expert, the EOTech (what the guy I was talking about was using) actually sits at the front sight post (in fact, all of their issued optics do except the aimpoint comp m2 with a wilcox mount)....not much of a difference....and even if it WAS higher, that doesnt make any difference. The point is, he wasnt shooting right. Just an observation. Any retard can see that.
PS: For you to insult me, I must actually value your opinion first.
Dude, really, I am not much for arguing, I was just pointing out something. That was all. YOU decided to take offense to it....and now I dont even know what we are even arguing ABOUT.
@Zebco96 when you are in the military and not playing make belive in camoflauge then give your educated opinion on correct posture. lol i cant belive in defending a solder against some dumbshit kid. honesly keep playing in your camo and leave combat to the trained
@ViolentEncounter Does it really matter WHO is saying it? The fact is, his stance was wrong. Wether I said it, or Richard Marcinko said it, ITS WRONG. What I dont get is what you keep going on and on about....what exactly is your argument?
@504WhiteDevil ? My father served in the Army and Air Force, when he got out he started playing airsoft for fun. Your comment is ignorant. In fact a very large portions of airsoft are ex military, including many of my friends.
@Andrew52690 "A very large portion" is BULLSHIT. Airsoft is dominated by preteen boys. I ran a great team with Sacramento air soft league many years ago and had nice AEG's and was as legit as Airsoft could be. There MIGHT be ONE or TWO out of hundreds of kids out there that served as a non-combat MOS. No paratrooper I served with in the 82nd would ever play fucking bb guns for with you for fun. Join the infantry tomorrow and your ignorance will be replaced with understanding.
@504WhiteDevil At 21 years old with a degree in less than a year I think it is in my best interest to stay in college, I do support the troops and appreciate what they do.However, what I am saying is there are many ex military guys that play airsoft for fun simple as that. Also the military is your job, while honorable and an outstanding choice for you don't brag about it, be humble. Because being arrogant is quite childish.
@Andrew52690 You are ignorant of the big picture, and I've done my best to show you how pussy and gay airsoft is for a grown man during these times. You are childish for defending it, and assuming I am because I am disgusted with people who play pretend dress up and act like they know shit. You don't even have the right to be called a cherry-fuckstain. No blue cord, no wings, no manhood...no clout. That's not childish its fact. Arrogant? Maybe or maybe not, but it's EARNED.
FUCK THE 550 CORD, JUST TAKE OUT THE RIGHT DISCONNECT. 82ND SUCKS ANYWAY, CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO BY US OF THE 101ST! (suppressed m4a1 (full auto) paktika afghanistan), JUST COPY AND PASTE.
No 8th punch available in the IP station on route Wild, with this it could atleast be called a weapons mulfunction....... Just pull the cord out you're back to three round.
@Th3Driv3r - Yeah if this is the kind of training the Airborne is getting now, I'm glad I didn't join up when I had the chance. Cool trick with the rifle though!
@0mgwtfbbq21 - The training is what you make of it. Listen to the instructors, and remember this video. Don't settle for second best. Your life depends on it. Good luck with your choice though, I still wish I could have gone in when I had the chance. Bring an extra shoe lace too !!!! lololol I'm still impressed with this little "mod"
@CINcinTM Nope there's a difference, the M4 carbine has 2 modes of fire; semi-automatic and a 3-round burst. The M4a1 carbine can be fully automatic in place of the 3-round burst :)
@SecuR0M I understand that ALOT of people have ALOT of training scars due to garbage instructors or any other number of reason... I never mean to be a dick but some comments are hard to show the tonality and whatnot... keep your secondary weapon stance and apply it to your primary... weight forward, slight bend in the knees, plates squared away at the 'threat'. personally I would utilize more of a competition grip trying to get above the bore as much as possible to mitigate upward-left recoil
@SecuR0M While you might be right about proper form, there is a level of comfort you develop in the military, especially the 82nd, where you can make the weapon work for you regardless, and you begin to do what's comfortable. When I cleared rooms in Iraq I used the mag-well grip and it worked best for certain situations, other situations with more difficult shots you don't use it. Point is, sometimes relaxed shooting is a sign of a guy who knows his shit so well he can shoot however.
@TaskForce15Gaming You must be thinking about the AR-15's that look like M4's. True M4's do in fact fire in 3 round burst. One pull of the trigger, 3 rounds come out.
@NosoCOMINSOON not if you're talking about a standard ar-15 (meaning std civvy semi-auto only)
I believe (someone can correct me if I'm wrong) that because the m4 has burst capability, they are essentially locking back that burst hook so that it no longer catches the sear(or bolt, not sure which) causing the weapon to continue firing.
AR-15's do not have an auto sear or the burst hook to do this "mod"
@D3ADPiXELS actually that is not true the M4 is an M4A1 and there was never a burst only version of it. because of the fact that the M4A1 was released after the M16A3 which was the first fully automatic and adaptive M16 variant. ...the M16A1 was also fully auto and single but thats beside the point.
@asiangangzter my bad i wanted to know if youd get into trouble in the military, in a garrison enviroment, ie stateside. lol i might want to try this if we need 2 expend some ammo on a range day. but i aint tryin to get my ass chewed out or nutin, gotta kno the Ins and outs of everything, thats just me
@asiangangzter AAANT! wrong sir! You can own machine guns as a civilian. It all has to do with registration dates. Anything imported and or built in the united states is illeagal for civilians. But if the weapon was imported before 1968 and registered before 1986 it is legal to own as a civilian! Your welcome!
So why do the normal troops get burst M4s? I understand the reason why Special Forces get fully automatic but why not normal soldiers? Is it because they will waste too much ammo.
@dumaznbum Sometimes you don't need to be accurate though , just make the bad guys keep there head down and not shoot at you till you can get to safety ..
@ObviouslyBoredKid Your civilian AR-15 is not select-fire. What is being demonstrated in this video is turning a rifle that is capable of 3-round burst into full-auto simply by temporarily disabling the burst disconnector (which would usually cut in and stop the full-auto firing after the third shot). Your civilian AR-15 is semi-auto only and does not have any sort of multi-shot capability.
@CydeWeys Yeah i know its only semi auto XD but i was just wondering if this trick wouldve worked the same way. but thanks for your intelligence brother.
the standard m4 is semi and 3 round burst only. its not made for full auto. when u jerry rig stuff like that u burn out ur bolt faster which can cause a round to blow up in the chamber. pus whatever is used to make it full auto can break and cause critical problems . every soldier learns this in basic training . its not cool hes moron . I've seen poeple arrested for that dumb stuff while on active duty.
@stagarmsm4 How about M4A1? Isn't essentially the same firearm, save the firing mode? So if the M4A1 is designed to be fired on full auto, why can't an M4 handle the same stresses?
how come they make the m4 burst and not full auto?

What's the difference between M4 and M4A1 ?
Temuil 1 year ago
@Temuil m4 has a safe semi and burst fire config, while the m4a1 has a safe semi and full auto config
sexkinger 1 year ago
So why do the normal troops get burst M4s? I understand the reason why Special Forces get fully automatic but why not normal soldiers? Is it because they will waste too much ammo.
amitnayna01 1 year ago
@amitnayna01 full auto is inaccurate wen firing, no point in wasting ammo if u cant hit the target u kno?
dumaznbum 1 year ago
@dumaznbum Sometimes you don't need to be accurate though , just make the bad guys keep there head down and not shoot at you till you can get to safety ..
coreysm1th 1 year ago
@coreysm1th yea yea we all kno that but these days u gotta deal with all these rules and collateral damage issues
dumaznbum 1 year ago
@amitnayna01 yeah it cuts the ammo down and less wear on the parts ...

traxxasking12 1 year ago
@traxxasking12 the standard M4 can't fire full auto, but the M4A1 can.
Spike674 1 year ago
@rpgethan M4 doesnt go full auto only semi and 3 round burst M4A1 can go full auto

Does this work on civillian AR15's? mines milspec...
ObviouslyBoredKid 1 year ago
@ObviouslyBoredKid Your civilian AR-15 is not select-fire. What is being demonstrated in this video is turning a rifle that is capable of 3-round burst into full-auto simply by temporarily disabling the burst disconnector (which would usually cut in and stop the full-auto firing after the third shot). Your civilian AR-15 is semi-auto only and does not have any sort of multi-shot capability.
CydeWeys 1 year ago
@CydeWeys Yeah i know its only semi auto XD but i was just wondering if this trick wouldve worked the same way. but thanks for your intelligence brother.
ObviouslyBoredKid 1 year ago
@CydeWeys if an ar15 is anything like a 10/ss all you would have to do is remove a stopper pin... but idk anything bout ar15's

akiles26111983 1 year ago
the standard m4 is semi and 3 round burst only. its not made for full auto. when u jerry rig stuff like that u burn out ur bolt faster which can cause a round to blow up in the chamber. pus whatever is used to make it full auto can break and cause critical problems . every soldier learns this in basic training . its not cool hes moron . I've seen poeple arrested for that dumb stuff while on active duty.
stagarmsm4 1 year ago
@stagarmsm4 How about M4A1? Isn't essentially the same firearm, save the firing mode? So if the M4A1 is designed to be fired on full auto, why can't an M4 handle the same stresses?
