When you get to boot camp you retake the asvab test again to make sure your the one who took the test recruiters do cheat. That test is the determining factor of what your MOS is They gave MOTOR-T. so keep a positive attitude and you'll be surprised where you'll end up.

As an Aussie, at Shoalwater Bay, I/we were highly impressed by a small proportion of the "Yankee Green Machine" storming ashore, in wave after wave!

We actually preferred the term "Expeditionary Marine Unit" as it made the acronym 'EMU' [an Australian bird] .

I worked with the 3/3 Marines, in about 2000, Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Australia.

The Marines have been in far more unconventional conflicts than traditional wars, and as such have developed their warfighting style to decisively win such engagements.
