  • un-believe-able! what a mad fierce parrot. our cockatoos act differently. Peaches cowers and ALbert rises up and "guards his space" Peaches was abuses tho and she's only been with us for three years. maybe...FT

  • Sadam has a "Dennis the Menace" personality... My male cockatoo goes for playing in the water when the vacuum runs. Jasmine, my female cockatoo, is scared of it. I use it as a "babysitter". I'll set it in the hallway if I don't want her going into the bedrooms & she'll stay far away. lol... : )

  • that would seem to be a smart thing to do. sometimes it's hard to keep an eye on both birds if they are out of their cages.

  • I wonder what it is about vacuums that makes birds want to play in their water dishes... Hmmmmmm...

  • He didn't put that much pressure on the cleaner or I'm sure he would have broke it... It cracks me up he doesn't mind the suction of it...

  • They are more costly than other parrots. It's quite a bit of work to hand feed when they are first born... If I did it, I'd have a good interview process to make sure they went to the right homes...
