  • that hst sounds brilliant ...***** for HST

  • Just wish you had HD camcorder to really show this off mate, it deserves it. cheers

  • Model scenery at its best, this really is a triumph, great stuff

  • nice vid - Thanks for including the scenic close ups - they are inspiring as always. for the rest of us. Look forwards to seeing some - how did I do that vids.

  • hi andy

im currently in the process of doing mine.the filler is done and i have made lines in the concrete so its in block, ive airbrushed it in concrete colour then gave the cracks a wash of dark colour.im just about to weather it but it somehow doesnt look as good as yours.this is the third time i have tried to build it with no luck.and what im trying to achieve is exactly what you have.

  • @bloodmarine77 Hi Mate I will do a video over the next few weeks of how I did mine. The stuff I use is of the right consistency as it is gritty and resembles concrete before you begin and it was only through experimenting with turps that I found I could bring it back to life after being dryed for several days and can be patched and repaired using turps but goes as hard as concrete when dry. cheers andy

  • nice layout

  • Great to have you back again Andy, I could sit here for hours watching your trains go by.....Love the new additions, the 08, the TPO's and is that viaduct new?....brilliant as always...Bob

  • @robmasterman Thanks Bob I always enjoy reading your comments. I am glad I managed to hold of some more TPO's they look great. The viaduct has always been there perhaps I havent shown it very much. Glad to hear from you again I hope you are keeping well , I will always envy you for being so close to the railway line and having the freedom to film what you enjoy whenever you like . many thanks bob cheers andy

  • @EverardJunction Thankyou Richard , its good to be back on the layout im just planning what to tackle next . Yours is really coming along too, I enjoy whatching yours many thanks andy

  • i have done that but yours looks so much better.what colour did you use as that might be why it looks so good?

  • @bloodmarine77 Hi mate , with the hard stand , ill be honest I spent a really long time working on the ground surface as I knew the look I wanted and I keep working and working on it until I cracked it.I wanted to still be able to see the sleepers of the tracks which again made this difficult. Soon I will do a video to show exactly how i did it . Trust me once I have shown you, you will be able to do it. All the best andy

  • love the layout can i ask how you made the station canopys?

  • @uzyadadi Hi mate the canopys were made from 6mm mdf board shaped with the same curve as the platforms and paper binders as they curve, were glued to the center of the mdf marking the center of the pitch. My led lights were drilled into this binder and cables were enclosed inside. Then using plasticard I started to glue piece by piece curving where neccesary and gluing to the mdf on the lower side of the roof and gluing to the paper binder at the top. I used wet and dry sandpaper for the ridge

  • @hornbachhh thanks alot mate keep up the great work/vids.

  • i , miss the TPOs i worked on them for a while before going back to the sorting offices as a driver, they have now gone so has half of royal mail sad after 24 years so did i ,how im happy with my underground train, great layout

  • what did you use and how did you build the hard standing concrete around the loco shed? as thats the affect im trying to get on my tmd?

  • @bloodmarine77 i did it with my own layout with polyfilla, make sure that it is more runny than hard if you get me, then just spread it out over the tracks, after use a small screwdriver or somthing to remove it from the sides of the rails, i would do this when it is half set kinda like cheese..

  • @bloodmarine77 I used elastomax which would normally be used to cover the cement on roof ridge tiles. This can be loosened with terps even after it dries and can be scraped with a blade to create ground cover. It comes in various colours, i used black in the depot area and grey in the turntable area. It trowels on with a scraper or trowel dries over night. I think it is an excellent product cheers!

  • nice one mate.that new bridge looks the part!

  • I never get tired watching your videos!

  • Fist Class, exellent layout , and a good length to show a good rake, Well done
