Heckert Gear Hobbing a Double Helical Gear

How do you ensure the teeth on each side of the gear line up? Do you use different hand cutters for each side?

Sir,

You are incorrect. We have a heavy duty hobbing head on our machine and only use it for cutting splines and gears. We cannot cut threads with this hobbing head. I hope this answers your question.

you are right. this is thread milling .

we have 3 same kind of machines running in our manufacturing unit and we cut splines, worm thread and gears on it.

this is a thread cutting machine cutting gear on a shaft diameter. and this is not a proper machine for double helical or herring bone gear cutting.
