My point is you need to recognize the nationalists in OTHER countries, and if your point is to help those under attack from those nationalists, then I'm with you. But Obama isn't at fault here. The tough words you call for don't help our side in Tehran.

I as an american don't condone Obama siding with thugs. Actions speak louder than words. And what's this deal about Obama ending suits from Iranian hostages? This is absolute hypocrisy for someone who acted like Gitmo was hell on earth.

I don't know about ending the suits. But he did not side with the thugs. He recognizaed that due to prevous actions by the US and UK (in particular, much worse than our gov.) made it a losing proposition to speak out loudly. As for as thugs, lol most of the worlds governments are run buy thugs. Look at Avigor Lieberman and Bibi in tel aviv. TOTAL THUGS P.S. And he is not closing Gitmo. Also the Iranians are enemies of the taliban and al quida. We need their help

Obama made the biggest noise about gitmo before he changed his mind. So it wouldn't be right to prioritize gitmo detainees over Iranian hostages.
