As an American of Greek Heritage I disagree. Of course the President has visited Turkey. It is a progressive Muslim state bordering a country with which we are militarily engaged. Relations with Turkey are more important to the interests of the United States. As a minor player on the world stage, I'm sure most issues with Greece can be handled via the E.U..
