  • I must say it almost tore me up to see him like this. Why, the end even seems like an obituary to some tragic 70's popstar, somehow. It captures a moment brilliantly, this footage, and it was a show that I left with the happy feeling he always evokes in me, but to see this now, edited in such a way... It makes me even more happy, that he seems to be happy now.

  • I think this is in the way the documentary was made, it is one of its concerns to ducument that time when a change was so needed. If you compare this performance to some from nowadays, it's night and day. I am SO happy for him, that he has found stability and someone who is good for him. I went to some concerts recently, he is not so thin anymore, and he actually radiates his happyness.

  • Oh my. I was waiting on some footage since the night I was there, did't know this existed.

This took my breath, not just because of all the memories it brought back, but it shocked me to a great extend. It was a brilliant performance, and I didn't see it so clearly back then, as I see it now in the close ups... He was so strung out and drunk, sad and tired, his smiles and gestures sometimes come across even angry and bitter here. His eyes and the looks of the other band members.
