I am making this costume for halloween, and I found red lace rabric and red thread at a fabric store (Hancock Fabrics, JoAnn Fabrics, Hobby Lobby, whatever is in your city). I found red poster board and a hot glue gun at Hobby Lobby, but it could also be found at Michaels, or another craft store. It is super fun!! Whoo-hoo!

While I realize this is a costume and just for fun, I cannot understand why you don't actually teach proper sewing method...I mean really, pinning and chalking around a stretched out piece of fabric? Amateur! How about using a measure tape? Cutting a hole for the head while the fabric is draped on the model...he's lucky he didn't end up with a chunk of hair missing...step up the tutorials threadbanger or don't bother.

i think threadbanger should continue to bother - for we who have zero sewing knowledge or *wish* to have zero sewing knowledge, these tutorials are great! i have gone down the measuring route before, and, honestly, i felt as though i spent more time measuring and planning and cutting than having fun *in* my costume!
