Really nice idea. But i will have to find out where can i get moleskin in my place... either it is going to be expensive or not available here xD... i haven't seen moleskin around. i should look around (or tell my auntie to buy it over from over sea if i can't find it , wont hurt trying this out)
@kurapica365 I found mine at my local drugstore under the Foot Care section. It was less than $5. I have enough left over to do several dolls. You can purchase it online too, so do a search. My moleskin was a local (Walgreen's) brand, but the Dr. Scholls brand is available in many places. Make sure you buy the thinner kind. At my drugstore there is also a thicker, more cushiony kind that was too thick for sueding.
That's a neat idea. I've got a Dollshe Hound that needs sueding (as well as a good armature and stringing). Do you think the moleskin would be sturdy enough?
I've learned so much from watching your videos and reading your blog. Thanks muchly!
@freya1924 Well, it couldn't hurt to try. It may not have enough 'grab' to handle the weight of the limbs on a large doll, but it's easy to do, doesn't take much time, and is easy to remove too. Let me know if you try it and how it went.
