I am a little dissapointed with the chars in diablo 3....they only brought back the barb from diablo 2 and the others are new (well I guess the Mage class isn't all that different) but still. I loved playing as a necromancer and a druid, I would have really liked to see all of the classes returned, not just a couple with a mix of past classes per char.

I don't believe Tyrael will become evil, corrupted maybe but most likely will just make a mistake or nothing at all. Why does he have to be the one to let loose the prime evils? Also with the stones destroyed they will come up with something, maybe because the worldstone was destroyed that's the reason the prime evils come back idk. I just hop they bring back the cows, best side quest in my opinion.

Inarius created the Worldstone to limit the Nephalem's (Humans) power. Being half demon and half angel the Nephalem were stronger than either, Inarius was afraid that the Nephalem would over throw Heaven so that is why he created it. Now with the Worldstone's destruction, the Nephalem will get stronger with each passing generation. Maybe That's why Hell invades Sacturary (Earth) in Diablo III, because they are also afraid of being overthrown or wiped out.

In the first diablo game, diablo is killed and the person that kills him sticks his soul into his body to contain diablo but that back fires and he ends up reviving all the other prime evils in the second game which the new heroes have to go through and kill. You end up killing all the evils but not after Baal corrupts the world stone and then tyrael destroys the world stone so that everyone doesn't become evil.

Actually Tyrael says when he destroys the worldstone even he has no idea what will happen. That sounds like carte blanche to me. They have written themselves a complete "We can do whatever we want" wild card. So no, they don't have to make Tyrael evil. In fact, if they do then then Blizz really has run all out of ideas. I'm tired of seeing them regurgitate character types. Sylvannas is just an undead Kerrigan and our buddy Valerian Mengsk is Arthas right down to the cape.

@AkimboJoe just saying, but startcraft 1 came before warcraft 3 so Arthas is a Mengsk ripoff, not vice versa, same for Sylvanas, though there are differences, mainly Mengsk being a self-serving prick all along and Kerrigan being more of a mix between Medivh a posessed extremely powerful character, redeemed later in series(overmind first, possible new brain chemistry and power trip) and the Lich king(if you count the Xel'naga as something like the burning legion)

Arcturus Mengsk was in SC 1, his son made his first appearance here. Starcraft might have come before warcraft 3 but that doesn't mean all characters were present. And the differences while there are purely contextual, it doesn't stop them from falling into the same archetypes. For what it's worth though I'm mostly just sick of the "turn evil" mechanic. It's amateur hour writing at it's finest.
