At 8.30 pm of 29th July I heard the sad news and then immediate got it confirmed on phone from Ishmeet's uncle Mr Charan Kanwal. You are a loss to the country and sikh community. Thanks for keeping the sikhism alive in the Glamour World. May God give peace to the departed soul.

Ishmeet Singh was a victimed of a jealousy ,it doent make any sense to me that such a responsible person who know he got a bright future ahead and knew he cant swim then why would he go for a swim in a deep water.There is something fishy that there was nobody whosaw him drowning and where was his friends who went for the show and where was the resort staff.There should be a formal investigation and police should question all of his friends and especially the compititor.

It's true he didnt know how 2 swim,BUT i watched the news today & the doctors examined his body 2 tell how he really died,cuz they cant believe his friends like that.Ishmeet's friend said he bumped something on his head and he fell back in,& NO MATTER WHAT doctors must examine.U have to examine a body in every case.2day they sed that SOME1 hit his head!& then he fell back in the pool.& the only ppl with him that time were sumitra & Vyom!They will uncover more. Its a new case it needs time.RIP:(

FOUL PLAY!!!That's what makes sense. Everything else does not. There should be proper investigation and it all sounds very shady. What hotel does not have a lifeguard???It's a sad sad day.Ishmeet's loss is tragic and shocking. Very convenient for disciplined and righteous people to disappear in INDIA!!!

He went to Maldives for a prgramme on Aug 1st. He was enjoying with his friends in a swimming pool when he suddenly lost balance while coming up after the fun. His friends had entered the hotel already and didn't bother to look back. After a few minutes his friends wondered why wasnt he coming and then there he was down the pool dead!!!! i cried!

A great loss, he was not only son of his parents, but was also a talented person, and I hope Punjab Govt. should make Wednesday in India as a mourn/sad day and have flags down for tomm. But moreover we lost a great singer, even Gurdas Maan said same too as he met him on one flight, he could be our next sukhwinder or more... I feel so sad for those parents and that home and city Ludhian where there was a joy last year when he won, and after just 8 months, its all over..
