it was a rough time for the people in austria in the year of 1954.There was not enough food,no money and everything was destroyed.They had to suffer from hunger and because of that bad situation it is understandable that so many people were sick.Of course it is to regret that this great recording is full of those coughs but under that circumstances it is logical.
