The book by Rupert Thomson was devastating. I don't think any film could live up to that.

IF you really believed that hell was real then you would be out preaching 24/7 with no sleep !!!
if you really look at every sinner as someone who is headed to hell then you would have an adrenaline rush to find out the quickest way to save them
the only problem is NO christian truly believes in hell because they life testifies that they don't

This was a disturbing film. Cutting from the sadomasocism of modern dance, to the abduction which was really horrid. Tom Long did an amazing performance. I was just not satisfied in the end, and not giving an audience some satisfaction is a fault in any film.
