  • Had to listen to it twice I love it so much!!

  • By far the best version of this song on Youtube, because the percussion and guitar(s)

are up front and bright, not muffled, with the rhythm giving the piece its excitement.

  • i wanna kill Malcom

  • Sound....

  • what a great some!

  • I think this band was terribly under rated. And sure wish that I had noticed them more back in the 80's. They were very cool.

  • Ricky Nelson doesn't give a fuck

  • Bow Bow Bow!!

  • its bow wow wow not bow bow bow

  • you idiots the song is from the 1930's

  • hahaha!:P:P i love it:P:P:P:P

  • This song makes me want to act goofy and hula dance around and sing the lyrics out loud for the world to hear.

  • woof woof

  • love this song

  • Marie Antoniette

  • I heard that the drummer used to play for Adan and the ants. And when he left the ants they had to get two drummers to get the same sound that they they had with Dave.

  • @caitlinniamh Not quite.....although Dave was an exceptional drummer all of the Antz left Adam to become Bow Wow Wow with Annabella Luin......and Boy George!! Dave is amazing on Dirk Wears White Sox!

  • i could hear this song all day, just on reply...oh wait...i'm already doing this

  • JUNGLE!

  • MARAVILHOSO...........

  • i was so in love with her

  • Guy on the bass is going hard

  • @TheBrimic slappin da bass...

  • This is an awesome cover, outstanding bass and vocals...

  • Your very ignorant & wrong CrazyShakazulu The Burundi are near the great lakes region of east africa , do your research before you say something so fucking stupid

  • The tribal beat used by Adam & the ants as well as Bow wow wow is from the Burundi tribe of africa

  • @soahdoll There's no Burundi tribe in Africa...

  • OH GOD THAT BASS!!!

  • never knew the guys were the Ant's from Adam & The Ant's.

  • i love this song, but i also love the kevin shields remix too.

  • can't believe this chick was only 14 when she started out! Crazy....

  • @jernellerosales she was only 16, IIRC, when she posed nude on her album cover. Needless to say Annabella caught quite abit of press over it, and an investigation or two for child porn

  • \/\/oot....

  • What category does this kind of music fall under??? The words are cute but the music is really amazing. Very happy song!!!

  • @ChicoPeligroso It's really difficult to categorize. I know in the early stages the band listened to a lot of world music. I think the drummer David Barbarossa is from Madagascar originally and the rhythms he played were African. The bass player Leroy Gorman was jazz influenced and so was the guitarist Matthew Ashman. There were way, way more influences and styles that made up Bow Wow Wow. I've just told you some very, very basic stuff. They were a great band for all kinds of different reasons.

  • @nkmcfrln he's 1/2 mauritian, very close :)

  • @apbarbe Thanks for telling me. I was trying to remember from way back. I just took a look on a map now, HaHa!

  • @nkmcfrln David Barbarossa is 1/2 Maritian 1/2 French. The beats are influenced by African Burundi Tribe drum beats.

  • can yu believe they dont even have Fools Rush in Bow wow wow origninal version on iTunes! >:O

  • Hair like this! NOW! Annabella.. <3

  • Holy Shit! what happened to them. Great underrated talent. My first time hearing anything other than the candy song.

  • when was this song recorded????

  • the bass player sounds like a huge jaco pastorius fan....it's almost like a pop version of the line from "kuru/speak like a child"

  • Best version of this song by far, and you gotta love her hair =D

  • yep, the bass player (ex Adam & the Ants) was absolutely brilliant. I saw them back in '79 and they were excellent. Always slightly overshadowed by the whole Malcy creation thing.

  • ew so of-key

  • My least fav song, but RIP Malcolm McLaren....

  • She was fourteen... I felt guilty looking at the pics..

  • @feidy

Really feidy? That's all she was?! Never realised. Gonna look her up on Wiki.

OMG! You are right...she is just over 2yrs older than me.

Bloody hell...thought she was about 20 at the time.

    Understand your guilt,honey...lol!

  • ahaha @ bow bow bow

  • The bass is unreal in this song.

  • And it has diatonic scales!

    (groan)

  • Isn't the name of the group Bow wow wow?

Anyway, interesting hearing another version of a song that is over 60 years old! Wow.

  • As a bass freak i must say that..... hell yeah the bass lines are so fucking amazing...it's nice to go back in time!!!

  • I wish that I had appreciated this group much more than I did back in the early 80's. They were very cool!

  • i really really really love this song

  • crazy,crazy people :D

  • I was looking for the tommy dorsey version but I'll take annabella anytime, great work as always

  • That bassline is INCREDIBLE.

  • @schwarzblatt - I read somewhere that Flea was influenced by the BWW Bassist.

  • good music, singers FAF too

  • Fools rush in Where angels fear to tread And so I come to you my love My heart above my head - Though I see The danger there If theres a chance for me Then I don't care - Fools rush in Where wise men never go But wise men never fall in love So how are they to know - When we met I felt my life begin So open up your heart and let This fool rush in
  • @Iminy those words are so true too.

  • is that the chick from repoman

  • No.

  • Althought there are many versions of this song, the guitar in this version is the best in my opinion. What atmosphere.

  • does anyone no where i can find the lyrics to this awesometastic song??

  • the lyrics are identical to the original by frank sinatra

  • TRUE STORY!-

I met Annabella at a Grammy function at Jim Henson Studio's a few years back. I was always big fan of theirs and recorded this song from the Rodney on the Rock show about 1980ish, the tape wore out and I never could find the album so i asked her which album and she told me that she couldn't remember (great laugh), We spoke, had a drink together and as i left she called out, " i know, you can find that song on the Marie antouinette soundtrack." She is still hot. Annabella rules!

  • cool story bro!

  • Yeah maybe Doris Day recorded it but I think that this version was based on the Ricky Nelson version which was very popular back in 1963. Ranked 12 on the US Hot 100 and 12 in the UK. I think that his dad, Ozzie Nelson big band had a hit with it in 1939 or 1940.

  • If you want to hear an amazing rendition, listen to Keeley Smith's; the orchestra is also something

  • Comment removed

  • this was made by some one eles earlier in the 50's i think

  • I think the original may have been made by Doris Day. But that is just a guess. This version is quite nice and well done.

  • this song has been covered by too many artists to mention since the 50s.

  • It's a Frank Sinatra song, I believe

  • yes, you are correct, it is a frank sinatra, and he sings it beautifuly!!!

  • I love the song !!!<3 It's so great :)

  • Perfect song

  • I love this song!

  • love this! XD

  • I love,love,love this song ! :)

  • the triple, triple, triple use of a word is completely annoying, annoying, annoying and all but the most, most, most dim-witted stop, stop, stopped it about three years ago, ago, ago

  • smart ass.

  • Come on Barney... Lighten up.. It's just a song.

  • Barney? you must be confusing me with your favorite television show!

and my comment had nothing to do with the song!

  • kin hell warehouse in the 80's .what about phono fridays,,Leeds was great back then

  • You got that right.Never mind the Uni. I saw all the best bands at the Warehouse, the F Club and the Poly. Great bands like Orange Juice,Teardrop,JCC.Ah,happy days.

  • So great.

  • Saw this little McClarenette at The Warehouse in Leeds around 1980,loved the music but never remember her being much of a turn on.Now i'm a 50 yr old git she looks like a hot piece of shit!

  • I love this song!!!

  • the drums are sick on this song!! :)

  • Bow Bow Bow ???

  • Annabelle (was that her name?) actually had a pretty good voice, as shown in this. I remember there was some controversy about her posing nude at 14 or something and with her half-shaved punk hairdo I thought at the time, What a disgusting young woman! God, did I want her........

  • ok?

  • Fools Rush in.. I should know of all people on earth!

  • Love the guitar in this - sounds like Johnny Marr....

  • dude is just a movie, calm down...

  • Excuse me, but do you think the purpose was to make a perfectly accurate historical documentary? I think it was to make something that is not one of these stiff and dry documentaries. And it perfectly worked with me!

  • hey disco elevator music!

  • it doesnt really matter. the film was not made as a historical piece, but to illustrate the life of a young teen thrust into overwhelming amounts of grandeur and a very adult situation and how she can't handle it.

take any teen star and they can fit that story too.

  • the idea of modernising marie antoinette's story was to give people more of a feel for the characters and show that people feel the same no matter what time they lived in. the plot of the film was historically correct. i think to be honest, that the music chosen made the film the best it could have been. much better than a kiera knightley style period film, that eventually gwt boring and all start to look the same.

  • Siouxsie & the Banshees - 'hong kong gardens' another great track from the film.

  • this song reminds me of down with the sickness by disturbed

  • u know this is a cover of the ricky nelson song right... this song is from the 50s = )

  • i heard elvis did a cover for it or it was his song and he wrote it.

  • elvis never wrote any music... he did cover it though ( I think frank sinatra covered it too)

  • I so loved this version of the song! & it's great to see the album covers, again.

    Thanks for the trip! :)

  • i heard from Marie Antoinette and it's so adorable

  • I also love the other song from marie antoinette its called 'hong kong gardens' some punk band from the 80s who my mum liked back in the day. Theres also an adam ant song in there some where think its 'STAND AND DELIVER' at the end credits.

  • Siouxsie & the Banshees - 'hong kong gardens'

  • I was sure that Sofia Coppola directed Marie Antoinette, not you.

  • He he he, you are right.

  • MALCOLM MCLAREN ROKS!

  • Great!

  • this was played at my aunties wedding! lmao. good song tho

  • love this song

  • the sound like samba

  • i think this is a really catchy song :) really fitted the movie Marie Antoinette aswell thats where i first heard it.

  • love this song! :D fits the movie too! :D

  • luv how the bass sounds.

  • Just try that bassline....

  • Yessss.

  • good song the Lyrics are so true. I only wished I listen to this at 19or20 maybe my life would of been better now?

  • Please do not confuse me with being an American!!! I am the furthest thing!!!

  • Lol, I didn't even know I made that mistake.

  • Katy Perry isn't a lesbian. She's the daughter of two pastors and her BOYFRIEND is the singer of Gym Class Heroes. And who said lesbians don't have talent? Instead of being a predjudiced hypocrite, why don't you judge music by its beats and musical notes.

  • Katy Perry sucks because she is exploiting a minority group and using (faux) lesbianism to sell her worthless song.

But it's not big deal, no one will remember her in three years.

  • I love this version. It is spunky or something like that :)

  • Noone will ever do this song as well as the late great Frank Sinatra.

  • lol i guess you were listening to this one with the mute huh? ^-^

  • This is such a great song.

    Samba version :D:D

I like the slow one too, its great!

  • loooooove it!

  • The slow version is even more beautiful.

  • The band is "Bow Wow Wow" not Bow Bow Bow!

  • this song is so addicting.

  • love it. im falling in love and its foolish but wtf!

  • If anyone has an iPod you can get the song on iTunes! I play it over and over and over

  • wow i love this song... i just wish there was a more interesting video... maybe i'll make one...

  • Awesome!

  • This song is infectious.... it makes me want to sing along... the artist... where is she from?

  • Yangon, Myanmar

  • Rangoon, Burma

  • That makes since, thanks for the info.

  • Love this song <3

  • this is a lot better than Elvis's version.

  • This'll sound bitchy, but couldn't help notice a credit to "Bow Bow Bow". Is there a way to correct a vid title once it's put up?

Otherwise, high danceable 5/5 full enjoy.

    Thanx.

  • Yes thats is the correct spelling of the band. I had looked it up. And it is soooooo hard to find and download this song, but when you do. BURN IT TO CD. so you can have it forever lol

  • it's Bow Wow Wow NOT Bow Bow Bow

    geesh!

  • BOW BOW BOW.. funny..

  • Comon, its a cover of Preslys Fools Rush In

  • The Entire band shines on this track, each performance is very strong, especially the Bass player's lines! FOr her age she was well beyond her years in talent and really belted out some great songs as she still soes with her Solo material today!!I wish her the best of luck in making a come back if that is what she is doing, she is so talented it's difficult to see why she would'nt enjoy succcess these days.Silly question, but has she released a new CD or just a single? does anyone know?

  • She is in need of all of you love!

Send he a lot of love!

    God bless you.

  • This song is way too short. :(

  • LOVE it!

    ♥♥♥

  • Lord, this song was released in what, 1980? Little Lwin was only, say, 14? And this was the voice she had? It still impresses me today.

  • i love this song ^-^

  • Yeah, is a nice song! And the movie is beautiful also for the songs like: I want candy, Afrodisiac, Age of Consent, What ever happened...

  • los banco a muerte

  • i loved this song in the marie antoinette movie
