I was at Westhampton Beach, LI Sunday night for their show. It was a thrill to see and hear them live. The theater had great acoustics. This is the song they closed the show with and brought the house down. If you want to see them, go to rod argent or colin blunstone's website. They post all the tour dates and places they will be performing.
I posted a couple of live shots and one of me and Peppy on the band's MySpace page; did you see them? I am contemplating doing a 3-page photo spread on the concert, one page for the Blues Magoos, and 2 for the Zombies; will let you know. A few of us Blues Magoos (we opened the show) got very near stage left (Rod's side) and the two girls (Victoria and myself) were definitely making a lot of that racket you hear .. especially on this clip because we must have been right next to UnsteadyFreddie (viewing the angle and where he was in the crowd!!) This was a GREAT show to be part of as "Magooette" & also to see the Zombies for my first time!! NYC LOVES The Zombies!We like to show our appreciation here! They ROCKED!!!
I can't believe how good these guys sound vocally, and the musicians sound phenomenal,too! They really seem to project energy and got the audience excited. I can't wait to see the show tomorrow night on LI.
got home around midnight, downloaded from camera into my computer, added it to YouTube, crashed out, work up at 6 am, and VOILA!, it was ready to go! God Bless the internet, right?
