Well, you gotta consider how huge the world is, and how many models are made all the time, plus it's mostly player made content so let's not go too hard on them. I'd say give it credit for being how vast the SL world is.

Try and find a camping place... Also press ctrl shift alt and d. then left click on the new option that appears and then click characters the characters then characters test then click afk.away to off then camp while you sleep

I've had that happen several times, I've been on sl nine months... it happens when the avatar can't follow the mouse for some reason, like when you've got something directly behind you selected... it's funny as hell though :)
