I REALLY need to know how you made the pokemon/enemies evolve midbattle. I've been trying desprately to have a boss that changes throughout the fight but have been unable to do it.

Im thinking about making my own Pokemon game in RPG maker vx,but keep it in the RPG maker vx style...Instead of completely changing it to look exactly like a Pokemon game,I was thinking of making all the actor slots as pokemon,but put their sprite as the trainer(Simple). Then,its basically ready! I'm not sure what I'll do for Evolution...Maybe I can make an actor for its evolution state,then switch them out...I'll have to figure it out XD

to evolve, make a conditional branch in common events, and then say when that actor is level 20 or over, then change their stats etc

it play when the battle started. You do it in the troops section.
