Hey this is pretty impressive and neat! Do you have any other pieces from this movie, or any other movies, that you've done on the guitar on your own as well?
its called fret noise, my left hand fingertips scraping across the length of the string, there are also a few bum notes in this rendition (at least 5), on top of this the key change is not sustained until the end, i couldnt be arsed reading the rest of the manuscript as i play mainly from memory than by sight, but then no one else on youtube has posted this peice!
haha Poledouris composed the piece it would be rude to say he does not! I wasnt trying to outdo Poledouris and the entire italian philharmonic orchestra (if i could do that i would be famous) i was trying to show my respect to the man by learning and posting the piece. Remember Poledouris was a pianist! this piece was written originally on piano, where the pianist can play with ten fingers i.e. ten notes at once the guitarist can only play a maximum of 6 notes at once.
@StoneMaestro I just down loaded someones acoustic "the orgy" Referring to previous comments: Polydoruuris is a long standing professional, using millions of dollars and a full orchestra to create the beauty that you do with just an acoustic guitar. BRAVO!! And you probably are the only one that posted this.
