  • ALL CAN PLAY INDONESIA CULTURE BUT DON'T CLAIM AS YOURS

HERE ARE SOME OF INDONESIAN CULTURE CLAIMED AS MALAYSIAN CULTURE BY MALAYSIA:

SILAT - MArtial Arts from Indonesia

BATIK - Visual Arts from Indonesia

    RENDANG - Indonesian food

RASA SAYANGE - Ambonese traditional song

    ANGKLUNG - Sundanese Music Instrument

PENDET DANCE - DAnce from BALI (THE RIDICULOUS THING IN THIS CASE THAT MALAYSIA GOVERMENT RECORDED THIS DANCE IN BALI - INDONESIA FOR MALAYSIA TOURISM ADVERTISEMENT)

    FUCK MALAYSIA !!!

  • @sherinamunafik 1 aja buat kamu, perkataan "INDO" jgn diklaim ya itu hak india, tak malu dibilang org maling sendiri jugak maling.. Maling terik maling ya..

  • Gamelan asal dari suku jawa.. Wong Jawa di mana mana pun berhak mpratikkan budaya nya.. Budaya bkn hak sesebuah Negara.. Bkn hak Indonesia maupun Singapur

  • dont mindlah if the gamelan is came frm java or thailnd, cambodia whatsover. The point is that this type of knock type of music has been prscticed all over SEAa hundred years ago with thier own mold of ethicity.and style.maybe java are well known fr thier manufactrg of gamelan in batch & exports thrgout nusantara but nobody know the exactly where this gamelan originates and who is the creator.this gamelan are belong to the people of nusantara.

  • The feelg of beig a citizen in Indosia is vry much diffrent if compard wth Mlysia & Sg. we hve to compete wth ths 2 biggst races that have an excellnt civilazatn throuhout th world in past time.We knw hw is th levl of our mindst & also thiers.Evthough we compete each others but we still can live peacefully & harmony bcoz we undrstnd ech others ad respect.indonesia is tryng to break th ethc grop to small peices bt mlysia is tryg to unite th ethic grp fr largst peics.tht is the diffent.

  • in indonesia they define malay as an ethnic group but not a race. While in Malaysia and Singap[ore the races is define to the group of people that have a similar look, similar language and si milar custumes. If compared between Malays, indian and Chinese they have a big different in terms of language, customn etrc. They all not same. While jawa, bugis, minang etc is look similar and can be categories in same group of people. They preferd to be called Melayu.Indonesia is a nation nt races.dont be confsd

  • indonesial suka cari gaduh...dah la mengemis dekat negara orang masih nak tunjuk hebat..

  • meski gamelan dari jawa tapi silakan aja diminati dan dimainkan siapapun. sbg org indonesia sy bangga jika musik nusantara banyak yg mempelajarinya diluar negri, toh org2 indo sendiri suka melecehkan juga sih. makanya pelajari dan cintai budaya sendiri donk....peace :)

  • Hi there Maqapiz, I am Tam from Singapore. I am writing an opera in Mandarin Language, with western orchestra and some gamelan instruments, but would like to delve deeper into the gamelan instruments. Would you be able to help me out - perhaps suggest to me how I can get closer / hands-on to these wonderful instruments. Could I get a personal tour to the instruments at NUS or somewhere? Thanks so much.

  • melayu suka maling budaya jawa

  • You do not have the right to say that the Malays in Singapore steals Javanese culture. Let it be known to you that the Javanese in Singapore is classified as Malays. Do correct yourself in the future and let not others correct you instead!

  • DUNIA JUGA TAU. dari nada2nya itu kebudayaan indonesia

  • betul bgt tu bro,,, nada2nya jawa bgt!!! Dasar Malay and Singapore tak sepatutnya mengakuinya.

  • ya betul aku setuju, memang aslinya jawa. Cuma titlenya ditulis Gamelan yang dimainkan okestra melayu singapura. Bukan diclaim gamelan punya melayu atau singapura. Harusnya bangga bang. budaya dilestarikan seluruh Nusantara.

  • ok bang,,, lestarikan,,,

  • and by the way, the music is obviously javanese, not malay. the reason why it's called "malay" is because javanese are considered "malay" in ethnicity-ignorant countries like malaysia or singapore. there is a significant difference from a javanese person to a malay person evnthough they belong to the same race that spans the entire southeast asian archipelago (yes that includes the philippines).

  • @july071992 Hi. Go read up more about our country. We are in the Malay peninsula. We are a Malay country except for the fact that the Chinese are the majority here. Even the Southern Thais play this music. Southern Thais are Malays as well...

  • So funny...., this is about tourism and big industry.

Tourism makes country sell anything even the one that is not original from their country.

This is one of the impact of globalization. So... don't worry the world know that Gamelan from Java, Indonesia even Malaysian or Singaporean knows. History have been recognizing Java and its culture in many literature .

The important thing is "how to respect each others".... arts is belong to everybody... but history never rest... :-)

  • where is malaysia gamelan..i know malaysia gamelan is diffrent as same as batik , wood craft etc eventhough its have a similarity ..

  • This sounds more like Javanese gamelan..minus all the complexities of the actual Javanese gamelan ( I meant the base is Javanese) . Malay gamelan is more Thai-like (mostly played in the northern states of Malaya-bordering Siamese Kingdom hence heavily carrying the Khmer / Ayodhya influence as opposed to Java )

  • silahkan dimainkan, asal jangan diklaim punya org melayu yah......

  • Yes....we, respect that....

  • kakak, sememangnya kami orang malay tahu yang Gamelan berasal dari tanah jawa... jangan risau.. kami tak akan claim.... cuma pak pak menteri kami yang brengsek saja yang mahu claim... jangan salahkan rakyatnya ya kakak

  • lol u guys realy needs to go back and look into history coz this instrument is played widespread even in the siam. though it have change little bit among others but this musicexist everywhere in malay's territory. southern thai are malays, indonesia are malays, brunei are malays and malaysia are malays, and also some in singapore.. those 'penjajah' really had made u guys separated and forgot about ur own ancestor

  • what????? lol for u... stupid...

u said singapore is malay, thai is malays....

    bodoh sekali kau....

nyatanya bahasa kau saja beda dengan bahsa batak, beda dengan bahasa jawa, beda dengan bahasa makasar...

    kenapa masih kau bilang sama...

    mana dasarnya bodoh....

    bodoh

  • amitabacanda : orang bodoh je yang suka kata orang lain bodoh..kalau kamu berakal, kamu tidak akan bilang orang lain Bodoh atau goblok.. manusia semua sama diciptakan..dari tanah dan kembali dalam tanah..x kira lah kamu Jawa,Palembang,Batak,Iban, melayu, Kadazan atau bangsa ape sekalipun..jgnlah kamu terpengaruh dgn agenda2 barat yg menguasai media2 kamu yg cuba merosakkan hubungan antara kedua negara..Mak aku asalnya pun Jawa..ayah ku Banjar..xperlulah bergaduh krn hal ni..kita sume sama..

  • betul bro,,,

  • hahah... did u know where ur ancestors were from???

-do u know prameswara?? who's him? he's Majapahit exile... ancestor of all malays..

-do u know najib razak, ur PM? he's a Bugis man.

-do u know mahatir? ex PM? he's India..

so all malays 're not Asli Civil, ur cultur & laguange was derived and originated from another region of Nusantara Cultures and another foreign Asia...

  • yes i know all of it, but let us think for a while what is 'malay'?its simply 'melayu' that inhibits the malay archipelago (that includes borneo n indonesia) thousands years ago, until the portugeese, british and dutch came and started to separate us and call us indonesia, borneo, malaysia, javaneese, etc. or shall i say u r the left overs of 'tali barut penjajah' yang mahu kita semua masih berpecah belah? 'divide n conquer', thats how they do it, and look now what u r feeling about u r own race

  • Comment removed
