  • Glass is pure genius....

  • OMG!! I can't believe I found this! I have been searching and searching for about 25 years to find this! I first saw it when I was about 15 or 16(?) on a PBS channel (I think?) and never saw it again. It was soo awesome to see at the time (teenager, 80's), that I wanted to see it again. Of course there was no internet or youtube then. I did google searches over the years but by chance did a youtube search and there it is! THANKS FOR UPLOADING!!

  • @oasthous I was searching ,too, for that video , I saw in the 80's on a french TV, and I am so happy to find it . I was around 30 and at the time this work , music and video, was pretty strange and revolutionary . I remember I was fascinated . It was the time , I discovered Philip Glass with Koyaanisqatsi . Many years after,Mr Glass is one of the greatest musicians off all times ...

  • Thanks!

As you see I caught it on Alive from off Center and I used their description of

'computer graphics', though being in the tech field I had difficulty swallowing that such capabilities were available in the early '80's. Appreciate the clarification!

  • Tnx for posting this but it's actually called ACT III. We created it in 1983 using television post production tools only -- there is no computer generated imagery in it. If you'd like to view a higher quality version (posted from the master tape) please go to: youtube.com/user/dean358

    cheers!

  • My mind is numb. Very cool
