I think its unfair that his is released after One direction, Cher, Rebecca, Mary and Katie but Matt is apparently writing all the songs himself unlike the others, so I suppose it will take him longer to get it right.

Jaydee75. How can you even say that. This actually made me cry when I first saw it cause the passion and emotion in his voice made the song sound so perfect. You could see it meant everything to him singing that song and it was a beautiful and breathtaking version of that song which pulled on my heart strings and I don't normally like x factor I think it's a commercial pile of crap making manufactured pop robots. But Matt cardle is the most talented, original, versitile artist I have ever seen

@SeboZax7 she was consistent cos she managed to make every song sound the same with her affected vocals. she never really produced any 'moments' in her peformances despite the best efforts of the show to propel her to the front each week. im not quite sure why you think she wasn't "projected" - she was the only one to be given the memorable slots and was always given songs designed to suit her vocal affectations and middle of the road register. she had every opportunity to win.

@srizon I'm pretty sure Roberta and George aren't the original artists. The bloke who wrote it did so for his wife, Peggy Seger, to sing (I think) and he hated all subsequent covers of the song. He might he even have called the Roberta version "a load of old pish-posh". Maybe.
