My family had the pleasure of knowing the entire Klaudt family...they would have Sunday dinner with us whenever they were in Miami way back in the 60's!!! :)
CORRECTION: The pianist is Joey Hamby, NOT David Wharton. Joey Hamby is my dad and we're sitting here watching the video on YouTube together. He was 17 during this recording. He rules! Love the fringe jacket, dad! Totally awesome. Thanks for sending the link, Uncle Ken.
Wow....this brought back so many childhood memories! Our family loved this family and I thought Ken was so handsome...I was 7! :) My daddy bought all their records and played them almost every night. I chose to play the saxaphone in band because my favorite indian played the sax! Only God knows the souls saved and the lives changed by this dedicated and talented family. Thanks for the memories!
I remember the Klaudt family from many years ago, when they toured in Montana. My Uncle, Fred Dalton, an A/G pastor invited them to Polson and Libby at different times. It's wonderful to hear and see the family again...God bless you for posting!
I remember the Klaudt family from the Jubilee program. To hear them again is a blessing. Also, the enthusiasm in which they are performed shows the heartfeltness from the singers and musicians. I think I read that they are not currently singing together. Is there a chance for a reunion; perhaps on the Gaithers Homecomings?
We have been friends with this family since the early 50's, loved each and everyone. I am so happy to finally see one of my favorite songs they did on a video. If only we could find more. As many times as they were on TV during the 60's and 70's, there should be plenty out there somewhere. They were one of the best. Thanks so much for sharing the video.

I saw them in concert here in Louisville, about 40 or so years ago. My grandmother bought one of their albums that night.

This is my favorite song from the Best of the Jubilee video sets. The Klaudt Indians did a great job performing this song!
