Could you please help me? Is there an easy way to get video and audio in sync? I do let's plays and It's very hard for me to get audio to start at the same time.

If you can get the audio track from your video then you can sync them in audacity. The best solution would be to sync them in video editing software.

Great tutorial. I'm new to audacity and I need to edit a recording from one of my college classes. The recording was taken in a large auditorium so there's lots of echo.

Any pointers on how i can make the lecturers voice anymore intelligible?

I can't say with any certainty that either of these methods will work well, but you can try these. (use them together or separately)

1. Go to Effect > Equalization. In EQ adjust the line so the lower Hz are quieter and the mid-high Hz are at normal levels.

2. Try manually removing echo by going after each word and selecting the start to the end of the echo then using the "fade out effect".

This only records audio, the "video" you see is probably the waveform. When exported it does not show up, unless you are in an audio editor.

ok what im looking for is how to make your voice sound better in your videos

cuz i uplaod my videos by the youtube upload button and i click another tab go to youtube again search for an instrumental and press record on the other tab and rap and publish automaticly but when i hear it it sounds all svratchy so if you go 2 my channel listin 2 my raps it sounds scratchy and i dont know what 2 do so if anyone do please comment or send me a message .....sorry for the long comment.

You can try, but I think you will have to split the video from the audio.

You need the beta version. If they have changed the beta version since this video, all you have to do is click on the blue line and try to best copy the same shape of the line. (the equalization line)

Make sure you don't use any "pan" features. By it should play from both speakers, make sure you have your audio properly configured.

i remember when they just put ads on youtube...people was devastated...everytime they change something on youtube users hate it...why not make a change to change the change?..for example they should lets us be able to pick what type of ads come up as commercials before the video starts...like movies school business related etc.

Possibly, but this is more useful for voice overs, things like tutorials. You can test it and see if you like the results though.
