I thought they were firing from the top of their what 10-story parking lots, but no, off the ground?? Oh well at least I got to see some hot girls walkin around in minidresses in the cold, props to you all :P

this dec 2008 was my first new years eve on vegas and i saw on you tube past new years eve and was better, im from Mazatlan, Mexico and there is a fireworks show (naval combat on carnival in february) and is so much better. I dont know what happen to Vegas this dec 08, maybe the money or the security because are more hotels than past years i dont know....but i put an 8, i saw it from mirage and was normal, for be Vegas i think the show sucks.

i went this year and it sucked. you could not even see the fireworks if you were standing on the strip, as i was.

they make billions lol..... they scared cuz some hotel roof caught fire last year..so now they are doing it from the parking lot...for the rest of the years....sucks cuz people go stop coming to vegas

I was in New York. Time Square. Crowded. Drove 45 minutes to see it. Approximate estimation of 2.5m people.
