Stock market is up, home sales are up and first time jobless rate is down. most stimulus money hasn't even been released. What's not too like. Two explanations 1) cost cutting due to layoffs and risk-taking financed by stim. money, and 2) jobless claims may be going down but not because the un-employed have found jobs but because the claims have expired and some have found part time work or have given up looking for work altogether putting them in the ranks of the under-employed which don't enjoy the claims.
