  • this was a fun race! i love brians cars, even though he got me on this one! much respect to him and thr! i'm going to be bring the cobra to him to get some cams installed in the 4v. i would like to run again with my new set up too....

  • @SnailHouseProjects

Great Race from our end too! Now that she's got the complete rear suspension it's in the 10.20's at 133. I wish we'd have had time to get it dialed in that day, but all in all, 3 great baseline passes for the first time out was plenty of fun. How's the copper bullit running? More Boost or NOS? It was a very respectable import running 11's. I give you props for making that kind of power with only 4 cylinders!

  • @THRstang

we went 10.70 at 131mph the next shootout, it was fun! we are just doing a different turbo and we'll start at the same boost level and work from there. i would like to stay at the same level and do some suspension dialing or just a new suspension. its a basic street suspension....... where is your shop? i would like to take the cobra in to see how much the install would be for some cams.....

  • get that thing hookin and send us some videos of it doing wheel stands when it takes off!

  • take that tuner

  • andele cabron pa que se le quite!! lol!

  • Nice 347 mustang!!! Wish my mustang was as fast as yours. My mustang is prity stock so ill need a lot of cash b4 it does a 10 sec qtr/mile. Keep up the good work.

  • @orangemustang

Sorry for the delay, but sad to say we didn't have any vids of her at the track! Check out the other passes too! I'll try to have a complete build vid up soon so everyone can see if from the begining!

  • @THRstang dude i have watched ALLLLLLLLLLL of your videos.

  • @orangemustang

NICE! Keep an eye out as I'm trying to wrap up some new ones! We're almost done with a killer solid roller 408 on the bottle. Car ran a 10.23 @ 142 on the hydraulic roller cam, now we're hunting 9's!! We also have a sweet 96 with a forged mod motor and D-1sc that we just converted to a full 8 rib system with 16 lbs of boost and a complete Aeromotive Return Style Fuel System. Can't wait to see it run 10's here!

  • @THRstang keep it up. im building an engine for a convertible rite now similar to your 331 car. BEAUTIFUL work you guys do

  • @orangemustang Awesome! The 331's and 347's are becoming the new 5.0's. They are killer little motors. Let us know if you need a cam or parts to complete it.

  • @THRstang 10.20's isnt that bad for a 408, 142mph and 10.2's dont match up. 142 is enough mph to go 9.50's. im guessing you guys had some short time problems, and your 60ft's were in the 1.6-1.7 range aprox? id love to see a video of that car at the track. my dad ran a 351C with a soild roller, 12:1 crazy ported stock heads, strip dominator intake and a 750 dominator with a 200 shot and a pro shifted doug nash 5 speed, and he went 9.61@143 with a 1.31 60ft. (stock suspension, lakewood trac bars

  • @ZRT600Rider You're right. 60's were soft, but the guy wouldn't give us a chance to scale the car and set up the correct pinion angle and tire settings. It'll go deep nines this time around as he can now appreciate the details!

  • @THRstang if you are ever having traction problems (suspension or weight transfer wise) i would seriously consider a set of lakewood traction bars. Ive used them on all kinds of cars and every time they work. no frame twisting either, and both wheels always leave and touch the ground again at the exact same time, no left wheel twist wheelie stuff lol. like i said before, my dad went 1.31 with stock 5.0 suspension, nothing more than trac bars and lakewood 50/50's. what trans does the 408 have?

  • @ZRT600Rider

The 408 is a C4 with 4200 nitrous stall that hits 4500 out of the gate on a small shot. It has all adjustable suspension, including the anti roll, solid bushings, 50/50's, and a spooled 35 spline rear. The parts are not the problem, it's the tune on the suspension. They haven't set the pinion angle, or preload for the anti roll, nor scaled the car to get it set up. We finally have the car to do this for them. It'll go 9's off the trailer this time!
