Despite that, Lampard has more goals and assists in every single season than Kaka had at Milan. Fabregas has a long way to go to match Lampard's achievements. The fact he plays for the best team in the world can only help him but he hasn't achieved anything yet and I doubt he will ever score 20+ goals a season on a regular basis because he isn't that type of player.
Lampard has 11 goals this season too... He has also not featured in a number of games and has been used as a substitute on a few occassions.

the only reason Lampard has better stats is because he's averaged 15 games more per season than Fabregas has. The last time they played roughly the same number of games was 07/08, when Lampard was in his prime. He had 10 goals and 8 assists compared to Fabregas' 7 goals and 19 assists.
Also, Fabregas will be the same player when he's 34 as when he's 24, because like Xavi, he relies on vision not athleticism to play. I think it's even between the two, but Fabregas will play his best for longer

@ChamakhhAttackk You cannot look at a players performance in the WC and decide whether he's good based on that. Capello cannot find a formation which would fit Gerrard and Lampard so Lampard cannot play as well as he plays for Chelsea.
Lamps is incredibly intelligent, has amazing vision on the pitch and can guarantee 20-25 goals per season - every season. Lampard is a very consistent midfielder and a very reliable one.
Cesc is still young and will become better but right now, Lampard is king.

@snoopyt7 Ok, it was a bit unfair of me to say what do Chelsea fans know, because football is all about opinions. I Kno u cant really look at a world cup performance, because Capello did get it wrong. But in a big game, e.g. Inter Milan last season, he was completly out of the game, Sneijder absolutely dominated that entire game and Lampard didn't get a kick. When he's got Mikel And Essien in front of him, it makes him look better than he actually is.

Will soon see Chamakh is shit? well tbf he's played 10 games and scored 5 i purposely watched him in the champions league last season and he scored 5 there. Against good oposition. @shutit94 Also, just because chamakh doesn't score every game like the £23-50 million players chelsea buy means he isn't good. There are diffrent type of strikers u know, Players who hold it up and play off midfielders. He gives Arsenal something diffrent in the box, instead of being one dimmensional all the time. For a free aswell, i think thats pretty good business. Javier Hernandez-thats a shit player, who couldn't get in the Mexican wc team till Vela got injured.

@shutit94 20 goals in a season my ass the guy fukin gets his goals thru penalties. tell him to be a man and score proper goals and let drogba take penalties. 22 goals last season 10 from penalties take away his goals from the spot he ends up with 12. Fabregas scores 15 3 from penalty spot take them 3 goals he scored from spot and he ends up with 12 also. Fabregas assist ratio is ten times better than lampard. At this moment in time. @shutit94 Lampard is a gd player tho no doubt about it. i think Fabregas is ten times better. Lamaprd is surrounded by world class players such as Essien , malouda and Drogba. Fabregas has to lead Arsenal team out and we all kno arsenal squad isnt as strong as chelseas. he makes the team tick wen we realy need it. he provides them killer passes wen arsenal realy need it.
